Well done to #madfest24 for a great set of talks in the Female Leaders Club this pm. Here are a few snippets that resonated with Publicis Groupe ‘s Claire Meadows : Stefanie Sword-Williams FRSA (she/her) talk, and mindset. 💫For galvanising people (not just women) to be less modest, even if selling yourself feels cringy 💫to remember that “If you don’t take up space, someone else will take your place- don’t wait to be invited, invite yourself. 💫stop entertaining fictionalised narratives, we can be our own worst critic. Katie Street and the panellists Lisa Paasche and Seb Randle discussing the importance of male activists, not just male allies ☝️ they highlighted the need for men and women to speak up when they see or hear bad behaviours - to themselves or others. Not just to stop the behaviour but to increase understanding and awareness of what is ok and what is not ☝️it might not be easy to call it out, but people need to understand if they say something that makes you feel crap 💩 it’s not ok. ☝️many times it might not be unintentional - which is why it’s worth the conversation. Thank you for a great set of talks we wish we had time to see them all!

VivaWomen! UK were honoured to be 2023 delegates at the Women's Forum for the Economy & Society (A Publicis Groupe company) where we heard from a wide range of women (and men) leading the way to create a more equitable world. We heard inspirational stories from change makers Helen Gwanfogbe Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman, Begoña Lasagabaster and Chelsea Clinton amongst others and were challenged to be the change we need to see in education, corporations and society at large. Perhaps the most inspiring moment of the forum for us was to see so many accomplished female leaders from across Publicis Groupe take the stage, from Agathe Bousquet and Demet İkiler to Suzi LeVine and, of course, Anne-Gabrielle Heilbronner. #wfgm23 Video credit to Fifi Ahmed
