Lila Moss poses for selfies with The Clash's Mick Jones' daughters Ava and Stella - as they party with the Gallagher kids and more famous offspring at LFW

Their parents were the party people of the Nineties.

And it seems there's now a new Primrose Hill set as the offspring of famous rockers and fashion models alike banded together at the H&M x Charlie XCX London Fashion Week bash on Thursday.

Kate Moss' daughter Lila, looked to be having the time of her life as she stopped to take a series of selfies in the back of a taxi with Stella and Ava Jones, whose father is The Clash star Mick Jones.

They joined the likes of cousins Anais and Lennon Gallagher at the event, whose parents Noel and Liam have only just reconciled, ahead of Oasis' hugely anticipated stadium tour next year.

Also in attendance at the bash were Rafferty and Iris law, whose very famous parents are Jude Law and Sadie Frost, as well as The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards' granddaughter Ella.

Social media sites were awash with the band's older fans who are complaining that 'Suddenly everyone loves Oasis'.

The fans insist that they deserve priority when it came to getting tickets for the shows next summer.

Did they stay or did they go? What ever happened to The Clash?

The Clash were one of the most influential bands to come out of Britain's punk rock scene in the 1970s.

They formed in 1976, with founding members including singer Joe Strummer, guitarist Mick Jones and bassist Paul Simonon alongside another guitarist Keith Levene and drummer Terry Chimes.

They made their debut supporting the Sex Pistols at a gig in Sheffield that year, but Levene soon departed after becoming disillusioned while Chimes also left a year later because he 'wanted a different life'.

The addition of Nicky 'Topper' Headon cemented the classic line-up and they made a breakthrough in 1977 with their self-titled debut album.

Success followed on both sides of the Atlantic, with third album London Calling making them a household name.

The band also became well known for incorporating various different styles into their sound including reggae, ska and funk.

Hit singles Should I Stay or Should I Go? and Rock the Casbah followed in the 1980s but tensions began to rise and Headon was kicked out in 1982 due to his heroin usage.

Mick Jones was then fired a year later and although other musicians were brought in to replace the pair, the group disintegrated and disbanded by 1986, with Strummer claiming they had 'run out of gasoline'.

But what happened to them afterwards?

Joe Strummer

Born John Mellor in Turkey in 1952 to a father in the British Foreign Service, Strummer spent his early childhood around the world in Egypt, Mexico and Germany, before going to boarding school in Surrey aged nine.

He lost brother David to suicide in 1970 and soon after became known on the art scene first in London and then in Newport, Wales, while he also worked as a gravedigger during this time.

After starting a career as a musician in Wales, he changed his name to Strummer in 1975, forming The Clash a year later.

Strummer enjoyed solo success after The Clash, working on film soundtracks and acting, while he also toured with The Pogues. He is pictured left in 1981 and right in Las Vegas in 2002, shortly before his death from an undiagnosed heart defect

Following the split, Strummer became involved with films, recording music for several soundtracks including Sid and Nancy and Grosse Point Blank, while he also acted in Alex Cox film Straight to Hell in 1987 and Jim Jarmusch's Mystery Train in 1989.

Strummer continued his solo career while he also toured with the Pogues in the 1980s and 1990s, deputising for lead singer Shane McGowan on a tour in 1991.

He married South African citizen Pamela Moolman in 1975 to help her obtain citizenship, but spent 14 years with Gaby Salter, whom he met when she was 17 in 1978, and had two children with her.

They could never marry as Strummer was unable to find Ms Moolman to divorce her.

But he later met and married Lucinda Tait in 1995 whom he remained with until his death from a heart defect at his Somerset home in 2002.

Mick Jones

Mick Jones was born in Wandsworth in 1955 to a Welsh father and Russian mother.

He always wanted to be in a band and attended art school to achieve that means, earning praise as a guitarist in the early 1970s in a glam rock band before leaving to seek a new direction, which led him to meet the other members of The Clash.

Jones played a huge part in the band's success as lead guitarist and one of the main songwriters but by 1983 his lack of punctuality led to Strummer and Simonson firing him.

He went on to perform with bands General Public and Big Audio Dynamite and also found success as a producer, working on The Libertines' debut album Up the Bracket in 2002.

Jones and Simonon also reunited to join Damon Albarn-led Gorillaz in 2010 as part of the live band which played at major festivals including Coachella and Glastonbury.

Most recently he announced he would be collaborating with US rock band The Flaming Lips, narrating their upcoming 2019 album King's Mouth, released in April, on which he is 'on nearly every song'.

Jones is married to film producer Miranda Davis and they live in a £5million home in Notting Hill.

The couple have a teenage daughter, Stella, 16, who also works as a model.

Paul Simonon

Simonon was another artistic youth whose father was an amateur painter.

He was born in Croydon and grew up in Brixton, but also spent a year in Siena and Rome when his mother remarried.

His position in The Clash was less secure than others and he was actually still learning the bass when they first recorded.

But he is also credited with coming up with the name for the group, claiming he repeatedly saw the word 'clash' in the news.

Art student Paul Simonon couldn't even play the bass properly when the band first started recording but went on to perform with the group throughout it's entire run until the split in 1986. He is pictured left in 1977 and right with former wife Miss Ronane in 2002

Simonon has also gone down in rock history after posing on the iconic cover of London Calling about to smash his guitar on the ground.

After the group split up in 1986, he returned to painting and staged gallery shows as well as contributing album artwork to other projects.

In music, he collaborated with Bob Dylan on his 1988 album Down in the Groove and in the mid-2000s joined rock supergroup The Good, The Bad and The Queen alongside Blur frontman Damon Albarn, The Verve guitarist Simon Tong and Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen.

He has also been active with Greenpeace, joining a protest on an oil rig in Greenland in 2011 that landed him in jail for two weeks.

Simonon married former model and Clash manager Tricia Ronane in 1990 and they had two children, but split in 2006. A year later he began seeing lingerie mogul and Agent Provocateur co-founder Serena Rees, whom he remains with to this day.

He officially divorced Miss Ronane in 2008 and the pair divided their London properties and Clash royalties equally.

It is believed Simonon was the only 'classic' member of The Clash who opposed them performing a reunion show ahead of their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2003, a feat which became impossible after Strummer's death in December 2002.

Nicky 'Topper' Headon

Known as 'Topper' because he resembled Mickey the Monkey from Topper comics, Nicky Headon was born in Bromley in 1955 and grew up in Kent.

He began playing drums at an early age and was heavily was influenced by jazz.

Headon was active with bands including Mirkwood and Supertramp in the early 1970s, before joining The Clash in 1977.

Headon initially wanted to establish himself as a talented drummer with the band before moving on, but changed his mind and became an integral part of the group, including writing most of the music for smash hit Rock the Casbah.

Topper Headon, pictured left in 1978 and right in 2007 with a female friend at a film premiere, was kicked out of the group for heroin use in 1982

However by 1982 he was struggling with a heroin addiction and his continued drug use caused tensions with the rest of the band, leading to them kicking him out in May of that year.

Headon later apologised for his actions and claimed if he had stayed in the group it may not have split up in 1986.

He continued in music for the next two decades, recording a solo album and working on other projects, but began experiencing serious back pain by 2003 due to a curvature of his spine.

Headon also contracted hepatitis C in the 1980s which caused lengthy liver problems into the mid 2000s. He has since become a spokesman for the Hepatitis C Trust.

He currently lives in Dover.
