The attraction, called the Schlossberg Slide, is completely hidden inside the tree-covered Schlossberg mountain, which lords it over Austria's second-largest city, Graz, at a height of 1,551ft. Riders reach speeds of up to 19mph during their descent.

Likened to a giant armor plated turtle because the tin roofs are so tightly packed together, Migingo Island is considered one of the most crowded outcrops in the world. The stone-capped island, which is barely half the size of a football pitch at 0.49 acres, is located on the north eastern side of Lake Victoria and it sits on the the border between Uganda and Kenya.In a bid to find out what this crowded isle is like, Dubai-based filmmaker Joe Hattab made the perilous journey there and spent a night with locals.

Keri Bailey, a pole instructor from North Yorkshire, has had the pole fitted to her Citroen Relay van and now feels 'complete'. The unique vehicle has taken her from the Lake District to Saint-Tropez. Keri, who travels with her husband and dogs Rupert and Tilly, said: 'It feels more like living abroad as opposed to typical travel.'

The ranking was determined by Post Office Travel Money's City Costs Barometer, which considered the costs of 12 tourist items across 37 cities in Europe. Amsterdam languishes at the bottom in 37th place. Second to last is Belfast where a dinner for two costs £109, while third from bottom, Edinburgh, sees visitors having to pay £5.25 for a bottle of beer.

A video tour of the plane-ly impressive accommodation in Tenby, West Wales, has gone viral on TikTok, garnering 800,000 views. The Airbus A320 - sourced from Cardiff Airport - looks unsuspecting from the outside, but the interior has been totally transformed. The property is available to stay overnight from £199 per night and sleeps four guests.
