Often described as one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, Krakow dates back to the 7th century and continues to display its deep and varied roots. Largely undamaged during WWII, the architecture is not only beautiful but historic, meriting the Old Town’s inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The city boasts the largest medieval town square in Europe; Ryneck Glowny, Gothic church spirals, an impressive castle and cathedral on a hill, a vast collection of artwork and the quiet and historic Jewish quarter of Kamimierz. The city has a buzzing café culture in and around the Main Square. The city was Poland’s capital from 1038 to 1791 and is situated in the southeast of Poland between the Jura uplands and the Tatra Mountains, on the banks of the Vistula River.
