Costa do Ouro is a community made Random Map in Age of Empires II created by green eggs for Terra Nova Duos.
Overview[edit]
Costa do Ouro is based on the Gold Cost in Western Africa. Players start in a line along the lush coast, with bountiful seas to one side and rugged mountains to the other. This is gold rush territory, and a giant seam of gold can be found running down the middle of the map. Players are arranged in a line, with higher numbered colors spawning closer to the edge. Unlike typical gold rush style maps, the gold is found in a long, narrow strip, making it more difficult to lock down.
Versions[edit]
- The Blue Carbon Cup 2 version adds a few oysters in the ocean and changes the tree composition and land terrain close to the coast.
