Trivia[edit]
- Big Freeze was created for the Escape Champions League map contest, but did not make it into the tournament. The map later picked up in popularity and has been used in various events since.
- Big Freeze is named after the 9th track on the album The 2nd Law by Muse, with the same name.
- On older versions of the map, the minimap incorrectly displays the forest on the map. This is due to the outermost forest being created by a vast number of straggler trees. This was later fixed on the Definitive Edition.
