There were fantastic Special Buys in store, a fun filled TODAY Show weather cross, National Bucket Hat Day AND fundraising at ALDI offices and stores around Australia. A huge thank you to everyone who donated online or instore, with up to $100k being matched throughout September. Every effort really made a 'Good Difference'. ALDI's generosity means more kids and their families can have a break from cancer on a Camp Quality Family Camp, Kids' Camp, Family Getaway or Fun Day. Hold your horses, Camp Quality is going to the races! Camp Quality has been selected again to be part of The Golden Eagle race, taking place tomorrow at Rosehill Gardens. Over the past 5 years, the Golden Eagle race day has raised an incredible $475,000 for Camp Quality. These funds help Camp Quality provide programs and services that put a smile on the faces of kids and their families facing cancer 💛 A huge thank you to the racing community, the trainers and the owners of Southport Tycoon who have selected Camp Quality as their charity beneficiary this year. No Australian family should miss out on the support they need when a child is diagnosed with cancer. That’s why Camp Quality today launches a family registration journey translated into five additional languages: Arabic, Vietnamese, Chinese Traditional, Chinese Simplified and Hindi. From the posters, postcards and brochures families see in hospital or their community, to the website experience and online registration forms, parents can now access help in their language. A free interpreter service is available for those who speak other languages or need extra support. We are grateful to Ethnolink for assisting us identify these key languages, translating our resources and distributing them to community groups. Thank you to our multicultural marketing agency MultiConnexions Group, for their ongoing guidance, translating our media materials and for sharing this story with multicultural media. We couldn’t be prouder of former camper and current volunteer Roan Brown, who was recently awarded 2024 Central Coast Young Volunteer of the Year. After engaging with Camp Quality’s programs as a child, following a cancer diagnosis, Roan felt driven to give back to the organisation as a young man. Roan has volunteered at several Kids’ Camps, Family Camps and Family Fun Days, with his personal experience enabling him to easily connect with campers experiencing their own cancer journeys. His dedication, passion, and kindness shines through in his volunteer work, ensuring every child feels heard and supported, and enabling a positive experience for all participants at our programs. 💛 Big news, everyone! 💛 ToyBox Australia has ramped up their fundraising for Camp Quality’s Child Life Therapy (CLT) program to further support kids undergoing cancer treatment at the Monash Children's Hospital 💖 What does this mean? Well, hospital stays can be stressful and sometimes scary for kids facing cancer. That’s why Camp Quality’s incredible Child Life Therapists are there to help ✨ By using play therapy and distraction techniques, they help kids turn fear into empowerment! 💪 In 2023, Camp Quality funded Child Life Therapists held over 6,200 sessions across six children’s hospitals, making a positive difference to the lives of these brave kids and their families 🦸♀️ With a partnership that’s been going strong since 2008, and support from Miss Universe Australia reignited in 2019, ToyBox has raised over $600,000 for Camp Quality’s services and programs. And we’re just getting started! 🚀 We were thrilled to have ToyBox 2024 Ambassador, Amy Lee, who as a Miss Universe Australia participant raised over $88,000 this year, join Camp Quality CEO, Deborah Thomas and Child Life Therapist, Karen Jolly, to mark this special occasion at the hospital in Melbourne. A huge thanks to ToyBox Australia! ❤️

What an incredible weekend! We are excited to announce that Camp Quality Convoy Perth 2024 has raised an astounding $411,648, surpassing our fundraising target of $250,000. A huge thank you to the WA trucking community for showing up with so much heart, support, passion, and generosity. You’ve truly set the bar high and shown what an impact we can make when we come together. This event wouldn’t be what it is without our sponsors, in-kind donors, and everyone who’s been with us since day one — helping us launch this dream two years ago and continuing to rally more people behind it each year. Because of you, we’ve been able to grow Convoy Perth into something truly special! To every driver, volunteer, donor, and supporter—you’ve made a huge difference.
