Jason Momoa apologizes to Chris Pratt via Instagram after shaming him for using plastic water bottle
He publicly shamed Chris Pratt for posing with a single-use plastic water bottle in an Instagram promotion for Amazon fitness products.
But several hours later, Jason Momoa clearly had second thoughts after the comment he left for Pratt on the Instagram post made headlines on Tuesday.
The Aquaman star, 40, took to his own Instagram to post an apology to the Guardians Of The Galaxy and Jurassic World icon.
'I’m sorry this was received so badly today I didn’t mean for that to happen (sic),' Momoa wrote.
Sorry bro: Jason Momoa posted an apology to Chris Pratt Tuesday after earlier calling out the Guardians of the Galaxy star for posing on Instagram with a single-use plastic water bottle
Momoa wrote his apology next to a photo of himself and his two daughters posing with Pratt outside an event.
He explained to Pratt: 'BRO you know my children and I are madly in love with you and I love everything you do... I’m just very passionate about this single use plastic epidemic. the plastic water bottles have to stop i hope u make a reusable water bottle for amazon so we all can purchase. You’re an inspiration to many I’m one of them. I’ll send you a case of MANANALU. All my Aloha, Da Momoa’s.'
Mananalu is Momoa's brand of water that's packaged in 100 percent recycled aluminum cans so as to cut back on single-use plastic drinking bottles.

Doing his bit: Momoa launched a brand of water in April called Mananalu that's packaged in 100 percent recycled aluminum cans so as to cut back on single-use plastic drinking bottles
The Hawaiian-born star, who is married to Lisa Bonet, launched his line of canned water earlier this year.
'I just want to do this to bring awareness because plastics are killing our planet and I think we have a solution,' he explained in a promotional video posted to YouTube in April.
'I don’t want to bitch about it, [but] there’s only one thing that will really help our planet and save our planet, as long as we recycle, and that’s aluminum,' he continued. '
About 75 percent of all aluminum that’s ever been used is still in use today. And it’s 100 percent recyclable. You drink the can and in about 60 days, it’ll be back. 100 percent. Infinitely recyclable.'
