Isabella Carr was the daughter of Sir William Carr.1 She married James Hay, 15th Earl of Erroll, son of William Boyd, 4th Earl of Kilmarnock and Lady Anne Livingston, in 1762.1 She died on 3 November 1808.1

Rebecca Lockhart was the daughter of Alexander Lockhart, Lord Covington.1 She married James Hay, 15th Earl of Erroll, son of William Boyd, 4th Earl of Kilmarnock and Lady Anne Livingston, on 15 September 1749.1 She died on 2 May 1761.1

George Hay, 16th Earl of Erroll was born on 13 May 1767.1 He was the son of James Hay, 15th Earl of Erroll and Isabella Carr.1 He married Elizabeth Jemima Blake, daughter of Joseph Blake and Honoria Daly, on 25 January 1790 in a childless marriage.2 He died on 14 June 1798 at age 31, by suicide, after inadvertently disclosing a secret entrusted to him by Pitt the Younger.2,1
He succeeded as the 17th Lord Hay [S., 1430] on 3 July 1778.1 He succeeded as the 16th Earl of Erroll [S., 1452] on 3 July 1778.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 1st Guards.1 He fought in the Walcheran Expedition.1 He held the office of Representative Peer [Scotland] between 1796 and 1798.1

Hon. John Hookham Frere, son of John Frere and Jane Hookham, on 12 September 1816.1 She died on 17 January 1831.1
