Lady Margaret Hay was the daughter of John Hay, 12th Earl of Erroll and Lady Anne Drummond.1 She married James Livingston, 5th Earl of Linlithgow, son of Alexander Livingston, 3rd Earl of Callendar and Lady Anne Graham, circa May 1707.1 She died after 20 May 1707 at Rome, ItalyG.

James Livingston, 5th Earl of Linlithgow was the son of Alexander Livingston, 3rd Earl of Callendar and Lady Anne Graham.1 He married Lady Margaret Hay, daughter of John Hay, 12th Earl of Erroll and Lady Anne Drummond, circa May 1707.2 He died on 25 April 1723 at Rome, ItalyG.
He succeeded as the 4th Lord Livingston of Almond [S., 1633] in December 1692.1 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Callendar, Lord Livingston and Almond [S., 1641] in December 1692.1 On 4 August 1693 he was served heir to his father.1 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Linlithgow on 7 August 1695.1 In 1715 He joined in the Uprising, and was subsequently attained, and all of his honours forfeit.1

After her marriage, Lady Anne Livingston was styled as Countess of Kilmarnock on 15 June 1724. From 15 June 1724, her married name became Boyd. In 1746 as a Jacobite, she detained General Fawley at dinner, in order to ensure the victory at Falkirk.1

William Boyd, 4th Earl of Kilmarnock was born on 12 May 1705.1 He was the son of William Boyd, 3rd Earl of Kilmarnock and Euphemia Ross.1 He married Lady Anne Livingston, daughter of James Livingston, 5th Earl of Linlithgow and Lady Margaret Hay, on 15 June 1724.2 He died on 18 August 1746 at age 41 at Tower Hill, The City, London, EnglandG, after being captured at Culloden and so was beheaded as a Jacobite.1
