This is hospitality post strictly
I see posts looking for entry level staff
stewards , utility boys, housekeeping staff, drivers ,gardners, electricians, etc
and I wonder how many would have got these positions filled from LinkedIn per say -kitchen utility boys/girls
LinkedIn allows 26 langauges, mostly international, Hindi being one of them , and amazingly I personally haven't came across 1 post written in Hindi
even for a driver or gardners position
and as a basic demographic 80% of staff in hospitality are from grade 4 catatgory who can understand English, speak a little English, read English rarely and write nothing
LinkedIn, unless allows vernacular languages as a medium of communication -and believe me it's very easy , can't get you entry level staff
but for LinkedIn they are not their TA , as below 20k INR salary can't afford or would not be interested in premium subscription for 3500 INR
I am trying to highlight 2 things
you can't get entry level staff on LinkedIn
and LinkedIn you need to do more if you want me to buy primium subscription
it wouldn't be long LinkedIn becomes next blackberry
