Star Wars veteran Gwendoline Christie, seen in February, will also be one of the hosts
Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth, Bad Bunny, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour will serve as the evening's co-chairs.
The dress code for the event will be The Garden Of Time.
The event marks the opening of The Costume Institute's spring exhibition. The theme is Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.
The exhibition will be on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Fifth Avenue from May 10 to September 2, 2024.
This comes after Zendaya said she finds the Met Gala 'terrifying'.
The actress, 27, will be going up the Met steps for the first time since 2019 this year and is set to co-chair the event, but she has admitted the experience is both exciting and 'daunting'.
During an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, she told the hosts: 'Going up the steps is very daunting, and I haven't been back for maybe four or five years.
'So this is, like, my first time back at the Met in quite a while.'
The actress, who is gearing up to the release of her new movie Challengers - where she plays the stylishly-dressed tennis player Tashi - said she loves to 'embody' her characters, even during press tours.
She explained: 'It's fun in the sense that I like to look at fashion as creativity.

'Even in press tours, it's a way to continue the creativity from the film.
'I like to just create characters, because ultimately sometimes, doing this for a living feels a little weird and awkward and I'm more of a shy, introverted person, so I get to create these characters.
'I'm this woman today who wears a green suit.' You get to embody this character for a day and clothes can do that for you.'
Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion will feature approximately 250 different items, including some pieces that are over 400 years old, like an 1877 Charles Frederick Worth silk satin ball gown.
The dress code will be The Garden of Time, which is said to be inspired by the J.G. Ballard's 1962 short story of the same name.
Vogue has explained the dress code will be about 'fleeting beauty.'
