Red Bull Wololo III is an Age of Empires II tournament hosted by Red Bull.

Two qualifiers were held for the event with open registration for 256 players for qualifier 1 and 512 players for qualifier 2. 4 players qualified from each qualifier to participate in the main event.

Format[edit]

1 versus 1
Empire Wars
Single-elimination brackets
- Round 1 (round of 256) is Bo1 on Arabia where players can pick any civ
- Round 2 and 3 (round of 128 and 64) is Bo3, without a draft before the series
- Rounds 4 and 5 are Bo5 with the draft noted below
- Round 6 is Bo7 with the draft noted below

Civ Draft[edit]

Players alternate picking civs in the order of A, B, B, A, A etc. until 7 civs for Bo5, or 9 for Bo7
Players then ban one of their opponents civs, leaving them with 6 civs to use over the 5 games (or 8 civs to use in a Bo7)
Players may not use a civ that they have drafted more than once
