A fine summary to Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan series focusing on the most important (from the point of view of creators, of course) parts of it. Manly epicness, epic manliness, all that wrapped in flashy explosions and boing ... Yoko ... it sure brings back some (good) memories. The whole summary consists from two "stand-alone" movies - each somehow covering corresponding halves of the series. Because of that, some parts making the series more enjoyable are omitted (as well as few epic fights, mainly the fall of Teppelin that I really missed); still, this summary is good if you want to "re-watch" the show.
Nevertheless, summary is only a summary, so I don't replace the series by them - just a "friendly" advice.

Really great summary of the second part of the series! I'm only disappointed that they poorly made the the fight with lord Genome as it's, in my opinion, one of the best part of the series... Except for that, it's almost the same as the series except for the end. Like for the first movie, if you want to re-watch the series, start by watching the movies, they're great!

Only for those who want to see Gurren Lagann but don't want to watch 27 episodes - this one covers the second half of the anime in 2 hours movie.
