Soundtracks, one of the main components today in any project involving entertainment, it creates tension, leaves you breathless and makes you touch the world of creativity.
What would we do without them even if the soundtrack is bad, good or just divine?
The people behind every soundtrack lay down hours of hours just for you to feel the magic of the show and we love you for it!
Joe Hisaishi, Yoko Kanno, Tenmon, Michiru Ōshima, Yuki Kajiura, Naoki Satō and the list goes on and on.
And please do not forget one of the most important things in music, the vocalists and the instrumentalists, the ones who makes it possible.

I have been following the website Anime-Instrumentality for quite a while, and it's full of interesting review and analysis of soundtrack and opening/ending. Recently, there was a pool on the top composer of anime soundtrack, and here are the result of the community. I suggest everyone to check this website.

Wow...haven't been here in a while. Currently I'm listening to the Kara No Kyoukai Soundtrack. Yeah, all of them 1 through 8!!! Over commercialized maybe, but I still dig it!
I really love the soundtrack for Mahou Shoujo Theme (Ice REMIX) it is so beautiful and magnificent....
And Kagura songs in gintama in episode 69 is the most epic soundtrack ever in the whole anime!!!!!!! turururututu tururu.......
and also the tarzan sountrack in gintama too!!!!!!!
Hi all,
let me talk about one of my new favorite : Zetsuen no Tempest.
so some weeks ago, I was at the anime club of a neighbor city. I arrived a little late and sat down during the preview of the next episode of an anime.
The music played was really good and it kind of surprised me. It was the kind of music that you don't hear often in anime. Deep symphonic music.
I noted this anime "Zetsuen no Tempest" based on what was on the schedule to check it later.
That later was 3 days ago. I checked this to see if it was good or not after listening to a song that was featured in the Anime Instrumentality website.
This anime made my day, it made my tree days I should say because it was soo good that I could not stop watching it. I finished it in tree days (done better, but it's not bad either haha).
This anime has an excellent soundtrack and the episodes are really captivating. I'd recomment this to everyone. I am currently listening to the soundtrack so I haven't made my thought completly yet, but these are the same that I have lisetened in the animes and the ambience that they bring is really great. I do not know yet if the soundtrack is better than the anime, but I must say that for now it is excellent.
Soundtrack has been made by Ooshima Michiru, composer of Full Metal achemist soundtrack, and you can hear some similarity from time to time.
You should check out more of Ooshima's recent works. I also loved her work for Zetsuen no Tempest. Her Fuse Teppou Musume no Torimonochou soundtrack was really good, too!

Just spotted a great piece of music.
Kumo no mukou, Yakusoku no Basho movie, there when they flied from the tower, and the music playing background was just awesome.

I like the OST to Lovely Complex, never heard Gintama but I'll give it a whirl! The most annoyest OST to me (don't get me wrong) what I mean by annoying is hearing it in mind over and over, to a point where it's the background music in my dreams, humming it when I'm bored, even playing it on my guitar that my bandmates started playing along! To a point my girlfriend (now ex--bless her heart) bought me the OST & complete series of Kane Kano (His & her Circumstances for you english types) for Christmas. She said "Here! Keep playing it till out get it sick of it" Untill his day from many many moons ago, I still can't get it out of my system.
Now see what I mean! It's soo~ annoying.
Something like Azumanga Daioh's character songs also get stuck in your head then you just must put it to your sell's message sound..... Conspiracy?!

I edited your post to fix the forum link to point directly to your thread: https://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=cmt&id=82975
Instead of the prior link you had, which pointed to the entire subforum.
Hopefully someone knows the answer. You may also want to go to the comment thread for that GiTS anime and post a message there: https://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=cmt&id=9083
Thanks for the fix and the advise, CDB-Man!
