Seto Ichitaka has a crush on Yoshizuki Iori, a girl in his class who has become so popular she now has her own fan club at school. But only a miracle could make him be with her, since the day he first saw Iori-chan, Ichitaka has been too shy to even talk to her. This miracle happened and now he and Iori are working together on the Freshmen Welcoming Party. It seems that things start to look bright for Ichitaka, but then a special childhood friend visits...

This show makes for a sweet little romance, but the plot is extremely shallow and the characters are often quite plastic. The direction also suffers from a certain lack of... pizzazz... The right sorts of elements are mixed in, but they're delivered rather flatly. It's a strange juxtaposition between a real amateurish sense of production and aspects here and there that are done extremely well. Honestly, the five one and a half minute "bonus" eps you might come across are actually better directed even though they're just extreme ecchi fantasy instead of actually plot related. Still... For all its amateurishness, there is indeed something quite compelling about this show. It does do a good job of harnessing some of that magic and mystique involved in first loves. I just wish that the production had put more into it. Ah well. Recommended for romance fans, definitely. But it's not the best out there.

It's short and lovely! The OVAs don't add/subtract from the series. Overall this series is a mini must-watch!

I would rather recommend the manga, this is a bit of a bleach summary of that. Which is sad obviously, because it really had a lot of potential. Especially the plot is great and classic. Still it is watchable and way better than for example Sakura Tsuushin.

I adore the I"s manga but this OVA doesn't really do it justice. It covers just a few volumes of the manga and then attempts to wrap it up quickly. Although the story is fairly typical, I think the characters are some of the most interesting, not to mention Iori is gorgeous.
I would recommend still giving the OVA a watch and then reading the manga if you enjoyed it.

Quite a good romance, but I could guess what's gonna happen for 10 minutes ahead at least. But I have to say and warn you that it's veeeeeeeery annoying too. Why? Because the friggin' phone ALWAYS (seriously, no exceptions) rings when somebody is about to confess their love and such. But it's short and quite interesting, so I recommend it. Also has a good Opening (at least I liked it).

Storyline is so linear you can use ir for a ruler. Main char is slow but persistant - not the best combo imo. It's still watchable, though I'd only recommend it for the bonus mov-s. Now they're awesome :)

The anime hasn't got the best animation, nor it has an unique story. Nevertheless, it has something captivating about itself that makes it a decent evening's watch. Enjoyed it a lot.

For those that enjoy romance, you will enjoy this mini romance series. This starts off with a boy and a girl who you think have NO shot in hell to be friends yet alone lovers, but as the series progresses, so does their relationship. Give the main male lead in this anime MAD props for waiting and doing what he did too...... gotta watch to find out!
