Club for fans of Key visual novels an anime based on them.
Key is a Japanese visual novel studio which formed on July 21, 1998 as a brand under the publisher Visual Art's and is located in Kita, Osaka, Japan. Key released their debut visual novel Kanon in June 1999, which combined an elaborate storyline, an up-to-date anime-style drawing style, and a musical score which helped to set the mood for the game. Key's second game Air released in September 2000 had a similar if not more complex storyline to Kanon and a more thorough gameplay. Both Kanon and Air were originally produced as adult games, but Key broke this trend with their third title Clannad which was released in April 2004 for all-ages. Key released their seventh and latest game Little Busters! Ecstasy in July 2008, and has worked in the past with Interchannel and Prototype for the consumer port releases of previous Key titles. Key is in the process of developing their eighth game Rewrite, and are working in collaboration with ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine to produce a mixed media project named Angel Beats!, which will be produced into an anime.
It’s looking more and more like Harmonia will be the last thing that Key is putting out. Maeda already wrote that he isn’t working on anything and neither has anything on the table. I guess this means the other parts of the Angel Beats VN are canned. Hinoue just quit the company (not suprising at all considering some of the stuff she was tweeting in the past...). They probably keep localizing stuff they already made, but I’m not expecting anything new from them.
A kind of stealthy release, as it was out during the summer sale, Tomoyo After is now out on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/462990/
Tomoyo After and Little Busters will join Clannad on Steam. However, unlike Clannad which has a brand new translation, Tomoyo After and Little Busters will be based on the current fantranslations.
So did anyone else check out the 1st Beat Trial? Not done with it yet, but i really liked what i read so far. No doubts anymore about the full game it will probably be great.
As a real fan of all the previous Key anime releases, should I bother watching Little Busters, or would I be better off spending my time doing a rewatch of their previous anime. I know some people hate it "lysanderd" and some love it "desolaxe". What's the general opinion of Key fans?

The Trial is out? I have to download it.
For a while actually, since character1 was like 2 weeks ago. I'm just a bit late with reading the Trial.
