Oura is getting into metabolic health.

Specifically, it’s acquired Veri — a startup that lets you track your meals and glucose levels using continuous glucose monitors (CGMs). It’s unclear how exactly Veri will be incorporated into the Oura platform, but this is the latest in health tech companies trying to make metabolic health the next frontier. At long last, Wear OS 4 arrives on Mobvoi Ticwatches.

All TicWatch Pro 5 devices will get the rollout over the next few weeks, so don’t freak out if you don’t see it just yet. The good thing is Wear OS 4 will add backup and restore, meaning you’ll be able to swap phones without needing to factory reset your watch. Plus, Mobvoi’s also adding new fitness features.

Just don’t ask when the Wear OS 5 upgrade is coming.

Offline Google Maps is now available on Wear OS.

The feature was announced alongside the Pixel Watch 3, but it’s now rolling out to all Wear OS watches. Once you download a map onto your phone, it’ll automatically be accessible from the wrist too. There’ll also be two new complications for your watch face that lets you search for destinations by voice or tap to view your surroundings.
