🌟 Transforming Gut Health in Children: A Neurological Approach 🌈✨ 1️⃣ Understanding the Challenge Moms, are you feeling overwhelmed by your child's persistent gut issues despite trying every remedy out there? You're not alone. These struggles can evolve into more complex challenges like sensory issues, emotional dysregulation, and anxiety due to the crucial gut-brain connection. 🧠💔 2️⃣ The Overlooked Solution At Vanella Chiropractic, we delve deeper than temporary fixes. We focus on neurologically-based chiropractic care to address the root cause of colic, constipation, and other gut issues in children of all ages. It's not just about managing symptoms; it's about holistic healing. 🌿👶 3️⃣ Beyond Traditional Methods Traditional approaches often miss the neurological component of these issues. Our care protocols target the central and autonomic nervous systems, crucial for regulating gut function. This approach brings remarkable results, unlike temporary solutions like reflux drugs or Miralax. 💊🚫 4️⃣ The Science Behind Our Approach The gut comprises smooth muscles controlled by the autonomic nervous system. Stress can cause these muscles to constrict, leading to issues like reflux and constipation. Our focus is on easing this tension and restoring natural, healthy function. 🌟🧘♀️ 5️⃣ Empowering Parents with Knowledge As a parent, the most empowering step is to learn more. At Vanella Chiropractic, we offer INSiGHT scans to precisely identify the stress and subluxation affecting your child's nervous system. Our tailored care plans are gentle, safe, and effective, especially for neuro-digestive challenges. 📚🔍 👉 Take Action for Your Child's Health If this resonates with you, we invite you to reach out. We've helped many children overcome constipation and other gut issues. Don't hesitate to contact us if your child needs help thriving. Share this with friends or family who might benefit from our approach. Together, let's nurture happy, healthy kids. 🌈💕 #ChiroSuccessStories, #HappyKids, #HealthyGut, #KidsFitness, #ConstipationRelief, #StayActive, #ChiroKids, #HolisticHealth, #EffectiveCare 🌟👶💫

Digital Health Product Expert || Clinical Safety & Operations Specialist || Ex-Headspace, Ex-Omada || Working Mom
Throughout my career, the roles I have grown from, deeply invested in, and experienced gratitude for all started out scaring me a bit. I think whenever you embark on a journey with unknowns that response is natural, and in my case, motivating. Today, I am ecstatic to announce that I am starting 2024 as a Co-founder and the Chief Clinical Officer of Multitude Health, a digital health, women-focused solution for IBS. I am joined by my Co-founders, Casey Langwith as CEO and Trent Kriete as CTO. We’re on a mission to translate best practices and standards of care across physical and mental health, to support improved quality of life for women navigating their IBS recovery journey. We cannot separate the mind from the body, and I am excited to bring my deep expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction to bear in this new offering. And, when I say Multitude is women-focused, I mean we’re here to support all women. Inequality exists across healthcare for women who either don’t have access to services, or are unheard when they do seek care. Transforming healthcare means branching out and delivering services through non-traditional pathways and in non-traditional ways. What do I mean when I say this? Well, for one, let’s stop talking at people, and instead join with them. Chronic health conditions have no cure, but can be managed effectively. The methods may not be the same for every person, so presenting a one-size fits all approach isn’t sufficient. Normalize the struggle and the role experimentation plays in chronic condition management. Arriving at your own personal plan for managing a chronic condition is a process and journey, not an equation. Experiencing difficulty sticking with a program or regimen doesn’t mean ‘failure’. Rather, it means you were brave enough to try, brave enough to persist despite the unknowns, and brave enough to try again if the results were disappointing. We’ve got to stop marketing and making claims that ‘our solution’ is the ‘only solution’, or that a static program will be effective for all. Next, healthcare doesn’t have to be so serious! Is care ineffective if we communicate in colloquial language and not medical terms? Is it a requirement to provide psychoeducation that is dense and inaccessible? Naw, nope, uh-uh. If you want to support people in expanding their understanding, you need to present information in a way that matches their learning style, and not focus on ‘teaching’ them. All this is to say, we’re doing things differently at Multitude, and I am ready to bring my years of experience developing clinically-backed programs for millions of people to this offering. And yes, I am a little scared, but more so excited! #digitalhealth #mentalhealth #womenshealth #evidencebased
I’m very excited to come out of stealth and announce our company to the world: Multitude Health. At Multitude, we exist to transform the lives of Irritable Bowel Syndrome sufferers by restoring a healthy brain-gut connection. We’re going live with our first members next week! If you or someone you know suffers from IBS or other frustrating gut symptoms, please refer them to www.multitudehealth.com. Multitude Health offers an online program designed by physicians and psychologists that teaches evidence-backed techniques to alleviate IBS symptoms. We believe that focusing on food triggers alone is limiting. Gut-directed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has been shown to work equally well as the low FODMAP diet in improving symptoms, without the hassle of managing a restrictive diet. Traditional approaches also ignore how your hormones and menstrual cycle affect you at different times in the month. And, crucially, because IBS can feel quite isolating, our program integrates a peer community into the program. Since women make up 2/3 of those with IBS and often experience worsening symptoms during their period, our first cohort will exclusively focus on women with IBS-D. We’ll quickly expand to other IBS subtypes and include specialized tracks for those experiencing pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause and menopause. Men, we will develop programs for you in the future, too. Join our waitlist to get evidence-backed, MD-reviewed content about navigating life with IBS, including the latest microbiome research. A bit about my founding story: I founded Multitude because I am one of the 30M people in the United States with IBS. My mother also happens to be a pediatric gastroenterologist, so I grew up around GI care. I realized from my time working at McKinsey and at multiple VC- and PE-backed digital health startups that a more scalable solution that would benefit patients, providers, and plan sponsors–reducing symptoms and medical costs–was possible. I’m so grateful to be working alongside my amazing co-founders, Trent Kriete and Lauren A. Lee, Ph.D. They share a deep passion for experience and equity in health care, a rigorous academic and technical mindset, and a healthy dose of skepticism for the often-overblown claims regarding gut health, brain science, and AI in our industry. I’m also thrilled that we’re working with a wonderful team of advisors and contributors: Bara El Kurdi, MD, Harold Hong, Corrie Mazzeo, Cindy Yamokoski, Raven Baxter, Ph.D., Terrance M., Phil B. Potter M.Ed., Andy Miller, Alexa Wahr, Anne Pol St.Pierre, Brigitte C., Georgia Glidden, Guido Valente, Ariel Odiz, Lalo Goldblat. Thank you to all of my friends and supporters who encouraged me to dive into this entrepreneurial journey. There is nothing more rewarding than hearing IBS sufferers and physicians share how excited they are for Multitude. It’s been a maddening, exhilarating, wild ride already and I can’t wait for the world to experience Multitude.

Interesting! "Conclusions: Weak children are likely to become weak adults in midlife unless strategies aimed at increasing muscular strength levels are introduced. Whether interventions aimed at increasing muscular strength could be implemented in childhood to help establish favourable muscular strength trajectories across the life course and in turn, better future health, warrant further attention." https://lnkd.in/gEM7B5jX
