Just over a week ago Holmes announced she was joining the series Poker Face.

She's set to guest star for season two of the show that airs on NBC's Peacock streaming service.

While making the big reveal on social media she also unveiled some of the other high-profile actors that will be serving as guest stars in the new season.

Giancarlo Esposito, Gaby Hoffmann and Kumail Nanjiani are joining the ranks.

'Thank you [Natasha Lyonne] for having me!' Holmes captioned a screenshot of a Variety article confirming her season two role.

Poker Face stars Lyonne in the lead role of Charlie Cale, a cocktail waitress with the uncanny ability to tell when people are lying.

Additionally, Holmes went on to describe her new acting gig as a 'thrill.'

The Peacock show is a murder mystery stylized as a character-driven, case-of-the-week mystery, with each episode adapting the inverted detective story format popularized by Columbo.

The series centers on Charlie Cale, 'a casino worker with an innate ability to detect lies, traveling across the United States on the run from a casino boss following a suspicious death. Along the way, she encounters colorful characters and solves homicides in a variety of settings,' according to Wikipedia.

The show, and its 10 initial episodes that debuted in January 2023, received critical acclaim resulted in Lyonne being nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards this past January.

Lyonne starred alongside Benjamim Bratt, while the list of guest stars during the first season featured the likes of such known stars as Adrien Brody, Ron Perlman, Chloë Sevigny, John Ratzenberger, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rhea Perlman, Luis Guzmán, Ellen Barkin, Tim Meadows, Stephanie Hsu, and Judith Light.

Some of the other guest stars included Dascha Polanco, Noah Segan, Noah Segan, Hong Chau, Megan Suri, Colton Ryan, Brandon Micheal Hall, Chelsea Frei, Lil Rel Howery, Danielle Macdonald, Larry Brown, Shane Paul McGhie, Nicholas Cirillo, Chuck Cooper, John Darnielle, Reed Birney, Simon Helberg, Tim Blake Nelson, and Jameela Alia Jamil, among many others.

So far, neither Holmes nor Peacock have gone public to share about the character she's playing on Poker Face.
