Pregnant Jenna Coleman sports a chic bob as she chats to boyfriend Jamie Childs while filming for second season of The Sandman after first meeting on the set of series one

Jenna Coleman and her boyfriend Jamie Childs were spotted hard at work on The Sandman series two on Thursday in Chesterfield, as they prepare to welcome their first child.

The actress, 38, revealed her pregnancy in June as she debuted her blossoming baby bump at a dinner at Chatsworth House.

She met her director boyfriend, 35, on the set of the first season of The Sandman in 2020, and they were first rumoured to be dating the following year.

Returning to the set where they first met, Jenna sported a dark brunette bob as she got into character playing necromancer and occult adventuress Johanna Constantine.

Jamie previously directed several episodes of series one of the Netflix adaption of the Neil Gaiman and DC Comics' book, and is set to helm all the episodes of season two.

She was also joined by her co-star Boyd Holbrook, who appeared to be reprising his fan-favourite role of the Corinthian.

The second series of The Sandman began filming last year and is expected to be release on Netflix next year, after receiving praise from both fans and critics alike.

The highly-anticipated adaptation stars  Tom Sturridge as Morpheus aka Dream, the king of dreams who was captured and held captive for 106 years before escaping to reset order to his realm.

Jenna and Jamie were first romantically linked in December 2021 and before they were spotted together for the first time in February 2022.

They were photographed on a stroll in Islington smiling and holding hands, just days after they were seen outside her £2.2million home as furniture was moved in.

The couple went on to work together again on Jamie's first film Jackdaw, with Jenna playing a character called Bo.

However, the pair work to keep their relationship private, with their public appearances together being rare and Jenna having never spoken publicly about their romance.

But the Doctor Who star recently sparked speculation that she and Jamie had taken their relationship to the next level after being seen wearing a ring on her wedding finger in January.

On a stroll together in north London, Jenna could be seen sporting a chunky gold band, while walking hand-in-hand with Jamie, who tenderly stroked her hair at several points.

While it didn't mark the first time she'd been seen wearing the ring, she usually wore it on a different finger – leading to speculation that the move was significant.

The Jetty star previously dated Tom Hughes, who played her husband Prince Albert in ITV's Victoria.

Jenna and Tom met in 2013 on the set of BBC drama series Dancing On The Edge, but went their separate ways in 2020.

At the time it was reported that the pair were 'terribly sad' by the end of their relationship, with the actress moving into her own pad and they reportedly attempted to 'salvage a friendship.'

Pictures obtained by The Sun reportedly show Tom assisting Jenna to move into a new pad, which is said to be miles away from the home they previously shared.

An insider told the publication that the pair have since met up in an attempt to keep things 'as friendly and civil as possible.'

The source said: 'They are trying to salvage a friendship but obviously these are trying times, and it's not easy.

'Both Tom and Jenna are terribly sad, but the relationship ran its course. There was no third party involved.

'Jenna's career is going from strength to strength, she's being offered increasingly more roles abroad, especially Los Angeles, and she wants to focus on this while she's still young.'

While in 2015, Jenna was even linked to Prince Harry, after they were pictured putting of a cosy display at a charity polo match.

One onlooker said: 'Harry sneaked outside with Jenna. He took her by the hand and led her away from the crowd in the sponsor's tent. They sat alone and talked.

'It was a very flirty, very tactile encounter. She was leaning in to him and he had his hand on her knee.

'From their body language, it looked like they were really enjoying each other's company. They were sitting very close, laughing lots and touching each other.'

But Jenna brushed off the rumours, claiming they were just friends and Harry went on to fall in love with now-wife, Meghan Markle, the following year.
