Vanessa Williams, 61, reveals she has STOPPED getting Botox and will not go under the knife or use fillers to appear younger: 'I want to look like myself'

Vanessa Williams is aging with confidence.
The Ugly Betty star, 61, has said she will not try to artificially turn back time to look younger with the use of Botox, fillers or facelifts.
'We were literally just talking about fillers, Botox, who's had work, who hasn't done work,' she told People.
'I have not gotten any... I don't do fillers, I don't do Botox anymore. I haven't had a facelift, I do micro-current and nano-current technology, which is amazing.'
The former Miss America also said she isn't interested in the more intense anti-aging procedures: 'I want to look like myself. I want people to know this face has lived. That's kind of where I am at at this point, at 61.'

The Desperate Housewives star is inspired by other women who've aged naturally and gracefully.
'I look at Diane von Furstenberg, I just watched her doc. She was talking about embracing the wisdom and the age that you are,' Williams told the outlet.
And she's not worrying about any wrinkles or fine lines or regretting time spent in the sun.
'Yeah, there's some wrinkles, but that's because I have sat out in the sun for too long,' she explained.
'But I love the sun, dammit! If the sun is out, I will sit out in the sun and do my crossword and have a nice glass of wine. If that shows on my décolleté, too bad. I'm embracing my age.'
Vanessa – who is gearing up to star as Miranda Priestly in the musical adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada in London – takes care of her overall health to ensure that she continues feeling good inside and out.
'I do bio-identical hormones. I do testosterone, progesterone and estrogen. I do sublingual drops for liver, kidney, adrenal. I do stem cell under my tongue as well,' she said.
'So I've got all the tricks that keep me feeling good. I kick box, I lift weights, I cycle, I swim, I do whatever it takes. I want to stay alive.'

This comes after she dropped some big news on Wednesday: she is enjoying life as a single woman these days.
The looker revealed that she quietly and amicably ended her marriage to Jim Skrip in 2021.
The former couple met on a cruise of the Nile River in Egypt and married in Buffalo, New York on the 4th of July, 2015.
'I'm doing what I love, and I'm in love with life,' she told People when asked if she's currently in love.
'There is not one person that I'm in love with, but I'm in love with everybody.'

When Vanessa met Jim, she wasn't looking for anything.
The tour guide on their Nile River cruise thought the two of them might hit it off.
'I made the first move — he would never have approached me because I was with my daughter,' she told the outlet.
'He happened to be traveling alone and happened to know who I was but wasn't a super fan,' she told Madame Noire in 2015.
'There was an immediate attraction,' the former Miss America said, adding that they had a long, three-hour dinner.
'We had so much in common. It was obviously meant to be!' she told People in 2015.
Williams was previously married to Roman Hervey II from 1987 to 1997. The couple have three children, Melania, 37, Jillian, 35, and Devin, 31.
The Desperate Housewives star was also married to former Los Angeles Lakers star Rick Fox from 1999 to 2004. They share daughter Sasha, 24.
Vanessa is currently starring as Miranda Priestly in the London stage adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada.

Williams was the first Black woman to be crowned Miss America in 1984. She was 20-years-old at the time and her reign was rocked by a nude photo scandal when photos she'd taken privately had been sold and published in Penthouse magazine.
She has a new perspective on that whirlwind time in her life now, 40 years later.
'I look back at my 19-to 20-year-old self and think, "Oh my God you were so naive, so trusting, so vulnerable,"' she explained to People.
'In your mind you think, "I’m old, I know what I’m doing." I give myself grace now, but as a young adult, I beat myself up, like "I should have known better."'
