Christine McGuinness admits she wants to find love again but rules out another trip down the aisle after sparking romance rumours by jetting off on holiday with a mystery man

Christine McGuinness has admitted that she would like to find love again, following her split from ex-husband Paddy McGuinness, but is in no rush to get married a second time.

The model, 36, insisted that she was 'really happy' single, but confessed that she believed being in a relationship was an 'amazing, magical thing to have in your life'.

However, she added that she worried she was too busy with her three children and career to sustain a new romance.

Her candidness comes after Christine sparked rumours that she had met someone new, after she posted a snap playing footsie with a mysterious man on Monday during a sun-soaked getaway.

Speaking to Closer at the TRIC Awards last month, she explained: 'Anyone that I've ever dated or had a relationship with - even in my teenage years - I was friends with them first, and then it developed into a relationship, and that was the situation with my ex-husband. We knew each other for a while beforehand.

Her candidness comes after Christine sparked rumours that she had met someone new, after she posted a snap playing footsie with a mysterious man on Monday during a sun-soaked getaway 

'However, this is the first time I've been completely on my own, and I've got time for myself, and that time is limited. I don't know if I could offer enough to somebody to be in a relationship right now, and it's not that I don't want to. 

'I know that I deserve love, and I love love, and think being around someone intimately, and laughing and enjoying adult company is an amazing, magical thing to have in your life if you've got it.'

She added: 'I think love is a blessing and you should count that blessing, but I don't feel I could give enough to somebody for that to be a relationship, because I'm at home with my three children most of the time, and if I'm not at home - I'm at work, or a charity event.'

Christine and presenter Paddy, 50, got married in June 2011 before splitting in 2022 and they share three children together - twins Leo and Penelope, 10, and seven-year-old Felicity.

Despite her willingness to find love, the reality star has ruled out tying the knot again, explaining she's already had a wedding and marriage.

She said: 'I think [getting married again] is something I would definitely rule out. I've done that, I had the big white wedding, and I was married for 15 years. 

'It's not something I'm in any rush to do. I only want to get married once, and I've done that. If I get love again in my life, I'll be really happy with that - I don't need anything more.'

It comes after Christine gave a sneak-peek into her latest lavish holiday, but did not reveal the exact location or who she was staying with.

However, she shared a slew of snaps from a stunning beach and sparked speculation by posting a photo of her playing footsie with a mystery man.

The shot showed the unknown man's tattooed leg visible, while he and Christine wore matching red Adidas trainers.

She also took to her Instagram to record a sizzling video of herself in a mirror wearing a skimpy black bikini and gave a look of her hotel room. 

It fuelled rumours that he former beauty queen had found a new partner - two years after her amicable split with Paddy. 

Paddy previously insisted he would support his estranged wife if she was to meet someone else.

The former couple still live together despite their split for the sake of their children, sharing separate bedrooms and appearing to still be on friendly terms as they co-parent.

And Paddy claimed he would be supportive if Christine was to fall for someone new, thought the TV star said he himself was 'happy being single'.

He told the Mirror: 'If Christine met someone else, I’d be supportive. If someone didn’t know our situation and came to our house and they spent the day with us, they would not have a clue [we were not together].

'We get on well, we live together and co-parent. We get the lawyers back and forth but that’s separate - that’s a different thing.

'I tried a couple of dates last year – after 12 months of adjusting to life on my own I felt I should give it a try rather than really wanting to. 

'For now I’m happy being single. For now, we’re happy with how things are, living together and helping each other balance work and kids.'

Christine was previously romantically linked to television presenter and footballer Chelcee Grimes, after they shared a kiss in December 2022. 

However, the pair have since unfollowed each other on social media and Chelcee, 31, claimed in April that she was now 'on a dating detox'.
