A man from Queens, New York, set a new world record for chugging an entire gallon of lemonade in such a short amount of time at the annual Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on Independence Day.

Eric 'Badlands' Booker managed to finish a whole jug of sour citrus juice in just 21 seconds to easily win the contest.

This year marked his fourth straight title in the event.

He celebrated with a big roar into the microphone after emerging victorious.

Booker, 55, is best known for his online presence on YouTube as 'BadlandsChugs,' a channel featuring videos of him chugging soda.

He won the inaugural lemonade chugging challenge in 2021 and has been able to defend his title every year since then.

In 2023, Booker set a world record by downing a gallon of lemonade in just 23.08 seconds.

His victory this year came just minutes before Patrick Bertoletti ended up winning the hot dog gulping contest, eating 58 glizzies in just 10 minutes.

Geoffrey Epster - another contestant - finished second with 53 while Bertoletti's rival James Webb ate 52.

Bertoletti was competing for the ninth time.

The totals paled in comparison to the record 76 hot dogs and buns Chestnut ate in 2021.

In the women's competition, defending champion Miki Sudo ate 51 hot dogs and buns to break the record in that competition. Mayoi Ebihara finished second with 37.
