Inside Adele's new life in the UK as she prepares to move back across the Atlantic with her new fiance Rich Paul...but will she settle into her £11m Kensington mews close to her mother or buy yet another mega-mansion?

Adele and her fiance Rich Paul are finally engaged - and more big news could also be on the way.

Now, aside from planning a wedding, the couple's next big job may be to move house again amid deafening rumours they want to settle in the UK.

Adele has also made no secret of the fact that she would like to be a mother again and it may well be those plans come to fruition back home in London after her Las Vegas residency ends in the Autumn.

The singer, 36, and her basketball agent partner secretly got engaged yesterday after he proposed in Tottenham, the tough area of north London where she grew up.

Adele was quick to share the happy news with her friends and family, who are expecting a huge wedding towards the end of next year.

On top of this, sources close to the singer have revealed she is set to move back to London after spending two years living in the US in Los Angeles, where she is believed to own at least three mansions.

And unless she decides to splash the cash on another mansion, she is believed to have a grand £11million west London home already - with her mother Penny living in a £1million flat around the corner.

Her son Angelo is 11 - so a move to the UK could also coincide with his move to secondary education.

She also had a stately home near Brighton on the south coast but she sold it before emigrating to America.

For now her only UK base is in Kensington.

In 2021 Adele reportedly splurged £2million to complete a luxury mega-mansion in London, after being granted planning permission to combine two mews houses

The singing sensation, 33, who grew up in a small flat in London, is said to have purchased two neighbouring houses in the upmarket area of Kensington for a total of £11million, which she got approval from the council to combine into one new home.

Her proposed dream property reportedly included a 1,000 sq ft master bedroom which is twice the size of an average flat in the capital.

An insider told The Mirror at the time: 'This is a home fit for one of the biggest stars on the planet. There’s no expense spared.'

The palatial new build will reportedly boast four floors, three en-suite bedrooms and an expansive playroom for her son Angelo, 11, whom she shares with her ex-husband Simon Konecki.

The whole of the first floor will be dedicated to Adele's master suite complete with a swanky glass-floored hallway, emphasising the generous amount of space.

It will also feature separate his and her bathrooms, a convenient touch for the singer and her fiance, Rich Paul.

The Someone Like You singer will have plenty of room to store her luxury vehicles after encompassing a two-car garage into her building plans. The car port will be located in the basement of the property.

The new pad will also reportedly feature a living room, dining room, kitchen and study.

Adele's new home will be lined with lofty windows and metal Juliet balconies which reportedly need to be painted black as the new property is located in a conservation area.

The garden space will house a barbeque area and wooden pergola for those warm summer evenings.

The Rolling In The Deep singer has been expanding her property portfolio in recent years and she currently owns a host of houses in the United States.

In fact Adele has been monopolising her Beverly Hills suburb.

In 2021 purchasing her third home from Nicole Richie and her musician husband Joel Madden, with the house sitting next door to both her current home and the house she purchased from ex-husband Simon Konecki in 2019.

The four-bedroom, four-bathroom mansion, with pool and basketball court, was sold for $9,950,000. Her trio of properties look to have potential to create a giant compound.

Adele previously told British Vogue that she invested in three Beverly Hills mansions in order to get better value for her dollar.

'The kind of house I have in LA I could never afford in London. Ever,' the Tottenham native told the outlet.

Adele said that she had 'looked at houses' in London before coming to the conclusion and moving Stateside in 2016.

'It's like hundreds of millions of pounds,' she said. 'I don't have that much money at all. I'd throw up.'

Adele bought Sylvester Stallone's eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom home in January 2022, saddling her with a colossal $37.7million mortgage.

Sylvester previously revealed how a statue of his character Rocky from the 1976 American sports drama film, which overlooks the huge outdoor pool, helped secure the deal.

The actor had been planning on taking the stoneware with him, when Adele insisted she wanted it to stay with the property.

He told the Wall Street Journal: 'She said: "That’s a no deal. That’s gonna blow the whole deal." She wanted the statue.'

Adele is now ripping up the massive mansion and making it her own in a huge renovation project.

Pictures of construction show the 18,587 square-foot home has been completely remodelled, two years after the star purchased the property with her husband Rich Paul.

Adele, who is yet to move into the property two years after purchasing it, is reportedly paying 'millions' for the extensive list of renovations, including adding a five-car garage and a fire-resistant roof to the pad.

It appears the singer has extended the sprawling property, which already had eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, skywards in order to build a garage to fit multiple luxury vehicles.

Her neighbourhood domination is akin to Ed Sheeran's epic property move, in which the singer splashed out some of his estimated £160million fortune to create his own extraordinary estate in Suffolk – dubbed ‘Sheeranville’ – including five properties bought for a total of £3.7 million.

Some of Adele's closest Hollywood friends live nearby in LA including Jennifer Lawrence. In 2016, the singer purchased a four-bedroom, six-bathroom home for $9.5 million, complete with pool and summerhouse.

After splitting up from Simon in April 2019, Adele clearly didn’t want to break the family dynamic. The following month, she bought the six-bed property opposite for $10.65 million, so that her former spouse could still be close to their son.

The Someone Like You singer, 36, has been spotted back in the UK in recently, seen in central London last week.

But she could be set to move back for good once her upcoming Las Vegas residency ends in November.

Adele's assistant Rose Moon moved back to the UK a few weeks ago and is currently organising the singer's return too, it is claimed.

Of the megastar's return home, a source said: 'It is all part of a wider return home and once her Las Vegas shows finish in November she has said she will be coming back.

The source said that Adele is a 'Brit through and through' which has inspired her desire to return to her roots

Adele is currently on a break from performing to recharge before she heads back to the states to begin her Vegas Weekends With Adele show in October.

Adele and Rich Paul's engagement came despite months of speculation they were already married.

A source told The Sun: 'Rich planned for the proposal to be in her hometown, and gave her an incredible four carat diamond ring.

'They celebrated with champagne at Chiltern Firehouse the following evening.

'Adele thinks it’s hilarious that fans reckon they’re already married.'

MailOnline has contacted Adele's representatives for comment.

Adele and Rich were rumoured to have tied the knot last year and reportedly confirmed the union at her best friend Alan Carr's comedy show in Los Angeles, with two audience members confirming the news to Deuxmoi.

An onlooker explained: 'I was at Alan Carr's comedy show in LA tonight and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently and Adele shouted 'I did'.'

Another audience member added of the 'small and intimate show: 'When he asked if anyone got married recently she yelled 'I did'. Super cute all around and was super sweet but dipped right before it ended.'

They added: 'Adele was sitting right behind me with a friend having the best time. Her security only came in to bring her snacks.

'She didn't care if people knew she was there. She was heckling him - they're best friends.'
