Kamala Harris' stepdaughter Ella Emhoff flaunted her midriff in a vest crop top and leopard-print skirt as she partied the night away with her friends.

While her mom continued her campaign for the 2024 Presidential election, budding model Ella, 25, enjoyed a night out in New York City.

She was seen attending a party for fashion brand ESSX's one-year anniversary at the exclusive Boom Boom Room nightclub at the Standard Highline Hotel in Manhattan on Thursday evening.

The 25-year-old tattooed stepdaughter of the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee showed off her toned figure in a black button-down vest and a leopard-print skirt.

She was all smiles as she posed alongside her fellow attendees - including popular YouTube star Mina Le - during the event.

Earlier that day, Ella was pictured smoking a cigarette as she took her dog, Jerry, out for a walk in Brooklyn - with a Secret Service detail in tow.

She donned a black, long-sleeve shirt and white sweatpants during the stroll, which she paired with dark sunglasses and brown shoes.

The artist - who is the daughter of the Vice President's husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, and his first wife, Kerstin - came to her stepmom's defense this week after an old video of J.D. Vance attacking Kamala for not having her own children resurfaced.

J.D., the running mate of Kamala's rival Donald Trump, called her a 'childless cat lady' in the 2021 clip.

On her Instagram Stories, Ella responded with: 'How can you be "childless" when you have cutie pie kids like [my brother] Cole and I' along with the thinking emoji.

'I love my three parents,' she added. 

Ella skyrocketed into fashion fame practically overnight after she wore a dazzling Miu Miu coat and a custom Batsheva dress to President Joe Biden's inauguration back in January 2021 - and completely stole the show with the eye-catching look.

After catching the world's attention with the ensemble, Ella signed with modeling agency IMG, released her very own knitwear collection, and scored an invite to the Met Gala.

She also posed for well-known magazines like Vanity Fair and Vogue, and walked in shows for big brands like Balenciaga and Proenza Schouler.

On top of all that, she was was also named a style 'icon' at the 2022 Harper's Bazaar Icons & Bloomingdale's 150th Anniversary party. And according to Ella, she never expected to become a star.

She told People magazine at the time that she was 'shocked' but 'incredibly honored' to have been given the title, especially since she admitted she still didn't think of herself as a professional model.

'It's kind of shocking,' she said. 'This is an incredible honor and as someone who doesn't really think of herself like that it's nice reassurance. 

'And it makes me check myself and the way I perceive myself... So exciting. I'm so grateful. 

'For some reason, I feel like I'm seeing myself from the outside. It's a very interesting experience that I will never forget. I feel like every day it sinks in a little more. It's a slow process.' 

According to the star, who has become known for wearing out-of-the-ordinary looks including funky patterns and bright colors, she never thought she'd come so far in the fashion industry because she was plagued with insecurities as a teen. 

'Growing up, I never saw myself as someone stylish, at all,' she admitted to Elle. 'Obviously, I loved fashion and cared a lot about it.

'But I was really into doing my own thing and being really comfortable in my own body, you know? I never saw myself as a "fashion person." And I don't know if my classmates did either.'

Ella received some backlash when she walked on Prabal Gurung's catwalk at New York Fashion Week in 2022, and bared her breasts for the entire audience to see.

She has also gained a lot of attention online for some of her other radical moves - including not covering up her tattoos or shaving her armpit hair, which is uncommon for models.

She was also scrutinized for her reaction to the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel. 

On November 4, 2023, just weeks after Hamas's murderous invasion, Ella shared a fundraising link for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) in the 'bio' of her Instagram account.

PCRF is a self-described humanitarian group that purports to provide relief to ordinary Gazans. 

Rep. Jeff Van Drew, a member of the House Homeland Security Committee, was among those shocked by Ella's backing of the PCRF. 

Ella deleted the fundraising appeal within days but then in March, she posted a link encouraging donations to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) – despite the fact that the Biden administration had dramatically cut off funding to the group nearly two months before.
