Inside LoveShackFancy designer's incredible multimillion-dollar New York townhouse that features hidden bars, a marble bathroom and 156 antique sconces

Today host Jenna Bush Hager was left stunned on Wednesday's show after the NBC show got a sneak peek look inside an incredible New York City townhouse with TikTok star Caleb Simpson.

During the latest episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, contributor Donna Farizan revealed how she got the chance to tag along with Caleb - who found fame asking New Yorkers how much rent they pay - as they headed inside the jaw-dropping home of LoveShackFancy founder Rebecca Hessel Cohen.

Rebecca and husband Todd Cohen started renovating their property more than six years ago, and even 42-year-old Jenna was impressed by the 'beautiful' house, which features a speakeasy, humungous closets and a carriage house.

As Rebecca took Caleb and Donna inside her West Village abode, the latter said it was like 'being transported to France,' as designer Rebecca revealed that they always had 'a lot of fresh flowers' before sharing some details of the interior.

'All of this paneling is from Paris. It's all original, it's inspired by the Picasso museum,' she explained, before adding: 'There's a 156 antique sconces in this house,' as viewers got a glimpse of her lavish marble bathroom and ornate white fireplaces.

One living room in particular featured cream-colored armchairs draped in designer blankets, and an antique marble and gold coffee table as well as a curved sofa and built in bookcases.

Rebecca then showed off one of the hidden bars in her house as a shocked Donna asked: 'How many speakeasies?' as she replied: 'You've seen two, you'll see more,' as she opened the door to one which was adorned with crystal glasses and a marble sink.

The trio then stepped inside an elevator and headed to the street-level of the townhouse as Rebecca divulged: 'I need to feel inspired everywhere I am,' as they entered a dining room living area complete with more antique-looking furniture.

Rebecca's rectangular dining table was covered in several cloths and adorned with fresh flowers with a huge white cabinet standing behind it and a beautiful chandelier completing the room.

She then pointed out the gold mirrors in the room and described them as 'original' before she revealed they had all been turned into televisions, which left Donna stunned.

She and Caleb then got the chance to wander around the kitchen which featured wooden cabinets and marble worktops as well as a very impressive black and gold stove and more antique sconces on the wall.

As the trio headed outside into a small fairytale-like courtyard, which featured various plants and cloth-covered tables, they strolled into the carriage house to meet up with Rebecca's husband Todd, who is also her business partner.

The carriage house was just as cozy and included several sofas as well as three huge chandeliers, more ornate gold mirrors and many, many candles.

Caleb then got the chance to climb the monkey bars in the couple's basement gym and even got to snoop around the 'many closets', including Rebecca's personal one - which she said she likes to keep 'very clean.'

He finished off his tour by doing his usual testing of the bed, but unsurprisingly, Rebecca ordered him to take his shoes off first as her husband watched on.

Almost a year ago in August 2023, the couple invited Architectural Digest into their home and Rebecca revealed that when they first purchased the property, it was 'a total shell.'

'But when I first walked through it and then out to the carriage house in the back -which was the most magnificent thing I've ever seen in New York City - I was like, "I don't know what we need to do, but we need to grab this house,"' she told the publication.

Todd described the renovation process as 'intense' and explained: 'The house dates from the late 1800s, so you just had to have the nerve to go through with all those changes.'

The couple, who share two daughters, described their children's bedrooms as LoveShackFancy-Land - referring to Rebecca's clothing brand.

'For their floor and spaces, it feels like that because that does make me feel warm and cozy, and I love it so much,' she told AD.

'But then, when I want to feel like an adult, and experience a beautiful and inspiring and textural and sophisticated environment, I can go to the upper floors. It was all about creating a balance.'

She said of her husband: 'Todd was really cute about it all. He was always looking to add touches of pink throughout the house. Like all of a sudden, he'd say, "Maybe this room should be pink."'

The happy couple enlisted the help of interior designer Benjamin Vandiver to renovate their stunning space.
