A goalless first half was delayed by 12 minutes after a stadium safety concern because of high winds.
Emmanuel Dieseruvwe's penalty broke the deadlock for the home side in the second half after Tom Parkes had been impeded in the box.
Both sides continued to create chances and Yeovil levelled it up with 10 minutes left through Kofi Shaw's long-range effort.
