Hawzah News Agency -In his Friday prayer sermons held at the Shahi Asefi Mosque in Lucknow, India, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Kalb Jawad Naqvi has strongly protested against the confiscation of Husayniyya and their introduction as government property, calling it a continuation of British colonial policies.

This religious scholar further emphasized that the Husayniyya are a heritage of endowment and belong to the people, and their confiscation is a betrayal to the history and school of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT).

The Lucknow Friday Imam also noted,” We will not allow history to repeat itself and our religious and cultural assets to be plundered. Imambargahs are not government property, but are endowments of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) and the people. Those who seek to seize these sacred places in the name of law should know that they will face a nation that stands firm and will not compromise its legitimate rights.”
