Each October we celebrate Indigenous Business Month, and this year are proud to highlight Seven Seasons Spirits and Beachtree Distilling Co. 🍃 Seven Seasons Spirits, founded by Larrakia man Daniel Motlop, uses native Australian ingredients and Larrakia traditions to craft award-winning products like Green Ant Gin and Bush Honey Wattleseed Liqueur, all sustainably harvested by Aboriginal communities. 🌱 Beachtree Distilling Co., Australia’s only certified Indigenous distillery, is run by Kamilaroi man Steve Grace and Kirra Daley. Their Re-spirits project, supported by the Coles Nurture Fund, turns local waste into innovative spirits while promoting sustainability. Meet our graduate, Anneliese Croker! 🙌 Anneliese began her Coles Liquor journey in the Store Formats team, working on transformation projects that improve our customer's experience. Now, she’s bringing her creativity and strategic thinking to the Brand and Content team, where she’s learning how to help shape the voice and identity of our brands. ✨ “The graduate program has given me a chance to explore different areas of the business and develop a diverse skill set. This month we are thrilled to celebrate Sean Doohan’s 34th anniversary with Coles Liquor!🎉 Sean began his career in 1990 in a full-time role at Liquorland, before working his way through various roles across the country. Sean is now our State Renewal Manager for Queensland, where he continues to make an impact leading the transformation of our stores. Meet our graduate, Olivia Whyte! 🙌 Olivia is one of our fantastic 2024 Coles Liquor Store Support Centre graduates, who started her journey in the Store Development team and has now transitioned into the Supply Chain team for her second rotation. During her time in the program Olivia has gained hands-on experience across a variety of departments, strengthening her skills and making a real impact along the way. “The graduate program has been such an eye-opening experience. Starting in Store Development gave me the chance to see the tangible results of our work, and now moving into Supply Chain, I’m learning just how much goes on behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly. The support I’ve received from my managers and peers has been amazing, and I’ve really grown both professionally and personally,” said Olivia Whyte.
