Before watching this show, I wondered how well wizards and the legal system would mesh together and it was portrayed alright. The wizards using their magic was cool, but the actual trials in the court system was very childish. There are good amounts of fanservice in this series.

A cool show, with a different approach to popular anime themes. the animation and character design make this show quite a treat.

I have close to no idea why i enjoyed that series ...
But for some reason it was the most interesting thing i've seen in awhile .
It starts slow , picks up in the middle .. rushes trough the end to bring you 1 of the better series of the season :)

I wanted to like this I really did. But in the end just couldn't get past the "ace attorney" element to the series. The annoying main character and overall mediocre writing didn't help either. If your a fan of courtroom drama as well as fantasy/action you could give this a try but still "for fans" in my opinion.
also, since I noticed witch hunter robin under similar series feel I should warn anyone considering watching this that while there are some common points, the series are very different in both content and quality. I loved witch hunter robin personally but found this barely watchable.

I would say this anime is recommended for fans, so far the story is pretty much like ''racist'' wizard are hated by most of the ''normal'' people and case solving. Overall, I really like it some cool soundtrack also.

The series takes a page from X-Men, where magic users are often discriminated when they commit unlawful acts. It starts off intriguing, but progressed to focus more on the protagonist later on. Impressions of the whole series suffered on its TV airing. And thus to fully determine if the whole series is worth watching gets expensive due to corrections made in the DVD/Blu-Ray release. I set to "Recommended" but it's bit of a coin toss now given the possible scenarios for future anime viewers out there. Can't decide? Flip a coin. Either way, it's a safe bet to pass if you don't want to risk the money.
