     Lady Janet Maitland was the daughter of Charles Maitland, 6th Earl of Lauderdale and Lady Elizabeth Ogilvy.1 She married Thomas Dundas of Fingask, son of Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Bethia Baillie, on 11 January 1744.1,2 She died on 29 December 1805.2
     From 11 January 1744, her married name became Dundas.1,2

Louise Christiane Rasmussen, Countess Danner1

     Louise Christiane Rasmussen, Countess Danner was born on 21 April 1815 at Copenhagen, DenmarkG.2 She was the daughter of Gotthilf Ludewig Köppen and Juliane Caroline Rasmussen.1 She married Frederik VII Carl Christian Oldenburg, King of Denmark, son of Christian VIII Frederik Oldenburg, King of Denmark and Charlotte Frederike Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Schwerin, on 7 August 1850 at Fredericksborg, DenmarkG, in a morganatic marriage.2 She died on 6 March 1874 at age 58 at Genoa, ItalyG.2,3
     She was an opera dancer and milliner.1 She was created Countess Danner.2

     Thomas Dundas of Fingask was the son of Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Bethia Baillie.2 He married, firstly, Ann Graham, daughter of Admiral James Graham, 1st of Airth and Lady Mary Livingston, in 1737.2 He married, secondly, Lady Janet Maitland, daughter of Charles Maitland, 6th Earl of Lauderdale and Lady Elizabeth Ogilvy, on 11 January 1744.3,2 He died on 16 April 1786.2
     He lived at Fingask, Stirlingshire, ScotlandG.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Orkney and Shetland between 1768 and 1771.2 He held the office of Police Commissioner for Scotland in 1771.2 He lived at Carron Hall, Larbert, Stirlingshire, Scotland.2

     Friedrich Wilhelm Karl Ludwig Prinz von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld was born on 10 August 1786 at Barchfeld, GermanyG.1 He was the son of Adolf Prinz von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Wilhelmine Luise von Sachsen-Meiningen.1 He married Juliane Sophie Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, daughter of Frederik Oldenburg, Crown Prince of Denmark and Sophie Friederike Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Schwerin, on 22 August 1812 at Copenhagen, DenmarkG.1 He died on 30 November 1834 at age 48 at Copenhagen, DenmarkG.1
     He gained the title of Prinz von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld.1

     Charles Dundas, 1st and last Baron Amesbury was born on 5 August 1751.1 He was the son of Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Lady Janet Maitland.1 He married, firstly, Anne Whitley, daughter of Ralph Whitley, before 1783.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Barclay-Maitland, daughter of Hon. Charles Barclay-Maitland of Tillicoultrie and Isabel Barclay of Towie, on 25 January 1822.2 He died on 30 June 1832 at age 80 at Pimlico, London, EnglandG, from cholera, without male issue.1 His will was proven (by probate) in November 1832.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1773 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Richmond between 1775 and 1780.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1776 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      Anne Whitley was born circa 1763.1 She was the daughter of Ralph Whitley.1 She married Charles Dundas, 1st and last Baron Amesbury, son of Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Lady Janet Maitland, before 1783.1 She died on 29 April 1812, without male issue.1 She was buried at Kintbury, Berkshire, EnglandG.1
     From before 1783, her married name became Dundas.1

Admiral Sir James Whitley-Deans-Dundas1

     Admiral Sir James Whitley-Deans-Dundas was born on 4 December 1785.1,2 He was the son of James Deans and Janet Dundas.3 He married, secondly, Lady Emily Reynolds-Moreton, daughter of Thomas Reynolds-Moreton, 1st Earl of Ducie and Lady Frances Herbert.3 He married, firstly, Hon. Janet Dundas, daughter of Charles Dundas, 1st and last Baron Amesbury and Anne Whitley, on 28 April 1808.1,3 He died on 3 October 1862 at age 76.1
     He was given the name of James Deans at birth. In 1808 his name was legally changed to James Whitley-Deans-Dundas.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Greenwich between 1832 and 1834.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Devizes between 1836 and 1838.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Greenwich between 1841 and 1852.3 He was naval commander of the Mediterranean forces in 1854.3 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1855.1 He gained the rank of Admiral of the White in 1861 in the Royal Navy.1
