He and Irene Romanoff, Princess Romanoff were divorced in 1959. He died on 7 October 1998 at age 74.¹

     Prince Boris Yourievsky was born in 1876. He was the son of Aleksandr II Nikolaievich Romanov, Tsar of Russia and Ekaterina Mikhailovna Dolgorukova, Princess Yourievskaya. He died in 1876.

     James Alexander Elphinstone, 18th Lord Elphinstone was born on 22 April 1953.² He was the son of Rev. Hon. Andrew Charles Victor Elphinstone and Jean Frances Hambro.^3,4 He married Willa Mary Gabrielle Chetwode, daughter of Major George David Chetwode and Lady Willa Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, on 22 April 1978.⁴ He died on 19 December 1994 at age 41.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.² He succeeded as the 4th Baron Elphinstone, of Elphinstone, co. Haddington [U.K., 1885] on 15 November 1975.² He succeeded as the 18th Lord Elphinstone [S., 1510] on 15 November 1975.² He was registered as a Professional Associate, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (A.R.I.C.S.) in 1979.²

     Willa Mary Gabrielle Chetwode was born on 25 May 1954.¹ She is the daughter of Major George David Chetwode and Lady Willa Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound.³ She married James Alexander Elphinstone, 18th Lord Elphinstone, son of Rev. Hon. Andrew Charles Victor Elphinstone and Jean Frances Hambro, on 22 April 1978.¹ She married Thomas Owen Saunders Lloyd, son of Major John Audley Lloyd and Mary Ivy Ann Owen, on 19 August 2017 at St. Mary's Church, Cwrt Henri, Carmarthenshire, Wales.⁴
     From 22 April 1978, her married name became Elphinstone. From 19 August 2017, her married name became Lloyd.⁴

     Alexander Mountstuart Elphinstone, 19th Lord Elphinstone was born on 15 April 1980.¹ He is the son of James Alexander Elphinstone, 18th Lord Elphinstone and Willa Mary Gabrielle Chetwode.² He married Nicola J. Hall, daughter of Michael Hall, on 7 July 2007 at Holy Trinity Church, Penn, Buckinghamshire, England^G.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He held the position of Chief of the Name and Arms of Elphinstone from.¹ He succeeded as the 19th Lord Elphinstone [S., 1510] on 19 December 1994.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Elphinstone, of Elphinstone, co.
