     Vanda Dorothy Julia Charlton was born on 6 August 1885 at Holywell, Flintshire, Wales.2 She was the daughter of St. John Charlton and Elizabeth Bronwen Hughes.3,4 She married Angus Valdimar Hambro, son of Sir Everard Alexander Hambro and Gertrude Mary Stuart, on 2 March 1916.1 She died in 1981.1
     From 2 March 1916, her married name became Hambro.

John William Richard Woodroffe, son of Brig.-Gen. Charles Richard Woodroffe and Eleanor Mary Webb, on 10 September 1939.1 She died in June 1978 at age 61.3
     From 10 September 1939, her married name became Woodroffe.

Charles Richard Woodroffe and Eleanor Mary Webb.2,3 He married, firstly, Patricia Hambro, daughter of Angus Valdimar Hambro and Vanda Dorothy Julia Charlton, on 10 September 1939.1 He married, secondly, Jean Frances Hambro, daughter of Angus Valdimar Hambro and Vanda Dorothy Julia Charlton, on 14 April 1980.1 He died in 1990.1
     He was a director of Hambros Bank in 1954.1
