Traineeships
Looking to upskill and advance your career? A traineeship combines paid employment and on-the-job training so you can learn new skills in your chosen industry.
What is a traineeship?
A traineeship is a training program that offers employment to people willing to learn on the job in a structured way. Similar to an apprenticeship, a traineeship provides you with vital practical experience.
Our traineeships will develop your industry skills and help to enhance your industry knowledge to enable you to take the next step in your career.
Delivered at the workplace or on campus, a Swinburne traineeship combines formal training with employment to help you make the right move.
Have questions about traineeships?
Traditionally known as TAFE, Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses are practical and hands-on, equipping you with the skills and experience you’ll need to make your dream career a reality.
Come to one of our on-campus Try VET taster events throughout the year and get all your questions answered. The first event kicks off in March 2024.
