Pasadena ISD prepares for new State enacted grading system
Starting Spring 2018, Pasadena ISD will transition to a new grading system that will assign school ratings on an ‘A – F’ grading scale.
The Texas Education Agency has released a list of indicators that will be used to calculate grades using a five domain system.
Ratings will be given in five categories and one overall grade, based on a list of indicators, including student achievement, student progress, student population, postsecondary readiness and community and student engagement.
TEA will release more information about the new grading system in January 2017.
