Not on training camp roster
Estrada signed an Exhibit 10 deal with Detroit back in June but appears to have missed out on a roster spot. The 23-year-old guard will likely spend 2024-25 with the Pistons' G League affiliate, the Motor City Cruise.

Cleared to play
Fontecchio underwent surgery on his left big toe in May and was always expected to be fully cleared before training camp. He had a terrific stint with the Pistons to end the 2023-24 campaign, posting averages of 15.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.9 steals in 30.2 minutes across 16 regular-season appearances.

Limited to start camp
Langdon said Thompson has been cleared for conditioning, strength training and non-contact drills, but the forward is still going through a medical process with the NBA's Players Association. Thompson's rookie season was cut short in March after undergoing treatment for a blood clot, and understandably, the Pistons and the NBA are taking every precaution. Expect more updates as the preseason progresses.
