Moses Moody

Gets 10 minutes in return Moody made his return to action after missing the Warriors' previous four games with left knee patellar tendinopathy. His playing-time outlook isn't likely to improve moving forward, as the Warriors have since added to their guard depth by acquiring Dennis Schroder. Additionally, Gary Payton (calf) wasn't available Monday, and he may be asked to cover a handful of minutes on the wing per game once healthy.

Dalano Banton

Three points, three assists in return Banton had missed the Trail Blazers' previous two games with a left hip contusion. He took back a spot in head coach Chauncey Billups' rotation in his return, but Banton's playing time will likely be limited while all of Anfernee Simons, Shaedon Sharpe and Scoot Henderson are available out of the backcourt.

Jaylin Williams

Plays eight minutes in debut Williams took the court for the first time all season after straining his right hamstring early in training camp and then suffering a setback in his recovery in late October. The 22-year-old's return gave the Thunder another option in the frontcourt, but so long as Isaiah Hartenstein is available and stays out of foul trouble, Williams will be hard-pressed to see more than 20 minutes in a given game. His path to playing time will grow only more daunting when Chet Holmgren (hip) eventually returns late in the season.

Matt Ryan

Re-ups with Knicks The Knicks waived Ryan on Sunday to open up a roster spot for Landry Shamet, but the team brought Ryan back just two days later. He takes Boo Buie's two-way slot. Ryan has appeared in nine NBA games this season, averaging 1.7 points across 5.0 minutes.

Boo Buie

Cut loose by Knicks Buie inked a two-way contract with New York on Nov. 5 but didn't appear in a game with the team. Instead, Buie spent his time with the Westchester Knicks, where he averaged 11.2 points, 3.6 assists and 2.9 rebounds across 22.6 minutes per game.

Jalen Hood-Schifino

Still out Hood-Schifino will miss a 10th consecutive contest with a strained left hamstring. Though he doesn't have a timetable for return, his next chance to play will come Saturday against Sacramento.

Jaxson Hayes

Still out The Lakers are expected to provide an update on Hayes' status this week, but the update isn't likely to come before the Lakers' Christmas Day matchup with Golden State. While it's unclear how close Hayes is to returning, his next chance to play will come Saturday.

D'Angelo Russell

Deemed questionable Russell suffered the injury during Monday's loss to Detroit and did not return. He's at risk of missing Wednesday's contest due to the issue. If he is held out, Max Christie and Gabe Vincent could see more action.

Anthony Davis

Labeled questionable Davis has been a mainstay on the Lakers' injury report this season and is currently battling a bruised shoulder. He's missed just one game in 2024-25 and is averaging 35.5 minutes per game. Davis has logged a double-double in 13 of his last 14 outings.

LeBron James

Iffy for Wednesday James has been dealing with a nagging foot injury but has suited up and played at least 34 minutes in four straight contests. Should he miss Wednesday's game, Cam Reddish and Dalton Knecht would be candidates for more minutes.

Collin Gillespie

Unavailable Wednesday Gillespie isn't quite ready to return from a right ankle fracture and remains without a timetable to return. His next chance to play will come Friday against Dallas.

Bol Bol

Won’t go Wednesday Bol is unavailable for a third consecutive game as he tends to a bruised left knee. Having appeared in just seven games this season, his absence won't have much fantasy impact. Bol's next chance to play will come Friday against the Mavericks, which is the first leg of a back-to-back.

Gary Payton

Questionable to face Lakers Payton missed Monday's game against Indiana with a bruised left calf and is at risk of missing a second straight contest due to the injury. If Payton can't go Wednesday, Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody could see more action.

Grayson Allen

No-go Wednesday Allen will miss a second consecutive game due to a concussion. With Devin Booker (groin) also sidelined, Royce O'Neale and Ryan Dunn should see more action. Allen's next chance to play will come Friday against Dallas -- the first leg of a back-to-back set.

Devin Booker

Won’t play on Christmas Booker will miss a third straight game due to a left groin injury, the severity of which remains unknown. Royce O'Neale should remain in the starting lineup Wednesday while Ryan Dunn and Monte Morris could see more action off the bench. Booker's next chance to play will come Friday against Dallas -- the first end of a back-to-back.

Jamal Murray

Labeled questionable Murray missed the second leg of the Nuggets' back-to-back set Monday due to a sprained right ankle. He'll be on the injury report once again for Wednesday's contest. Should he miss, Russell Westbrook would likely draw another start while Jalen Pickett could see more minutes off the bench.

Daishen Nix

Out again Wednesday Nix is nursing a sprained ankle and will be unavailable for the T-Wolves on Christmas. The guard has played in just three games this season, so his absence won't have any rotational impact. His next chance to play will come Friday at Houston.

Luka Garza

Still out Garza will miss a third straight game due to a left ankle sprain. As a fringe rotation piece, Garza's absence shouldn't have much fantasy impact. His next chance to play will come Friday at Houston.

Joe Ingles

Remains sidelined Ingles has been sidelined with a left soleus strain since mid-November and remains without a return timeline. His next chance to play will come Friday at Houston.

Jrue Holiday

Lands on injury report Holiday seemingly picked up the injury during his 16-point, eight-rebound performance against Orlando on Monday, putting him at risk of missing Wednesday's contest. Derrick White (hamstring) and Jayson Tatum (illness) are also questionable. Fantasy managers should check in on the Celtics' injury report closer to the team's 5:00 ET tipoff.

Derrick White

Questionable to play Wednesday White played 40 minutes during Boston's loss to Orlando on Monday and is nursing a sore hamstring ahead of the Celtics' game on Christmas. Jrue Holiday (shoulder) is also questionable, leaving plenty of uncertainty in the Boston backcourt. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on the Celtics' injury report as the team's 5:00 ET tipoff approaches.

Jayson Tatum

Iffy for Christmas Day Tatum was a late scratch Monday due to a non-COVID illness and is at risk of missing Boston's matchup against Philadelphia. Al Horford drew the start Monday and played 35 minutes while Luke Kornet saw an uptick in minutes off the bench. Both players would see expanded roles again Wednesday if Tatum can't play.

Keshad Johnson

Converted to standard deal Dru Smith was the favorite to get a standard deal from Miami, but he's been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a torn Achilles. Johnson has been a standout player for the Sioux Falls in the G League, averaging 21.2 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.

Grayson Allen

Sits out practice Allen suffered his concussion Saturday against the Pistons and missed Monday's contest versus Denver. His status for Wednesday's rematch against the Nuggets won't be known until Tuesday evening when the Suns release their injury report, but he should be considered questionable at best for now.

Devin Booker

Misses practice Tuesday Booker was spotted shooting some free throws after practice, but this doesn't bode well for his status for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets. More clarity will be known when the Suns release their injury report Tuesday evening. Grayson Allen (concussion) also missed Tuesday's practice.

Brandon Williams

Out again Wednesday Williams will miss his sixth straight contest and remains without a timetable for a return.

Jaden Hardy

Questionable for Wednesday Hardy has missed the past six games for Dallas, but he's been upgraded to day-to-day. However, he's not a reliable fantasy option while Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving are upright.

KJ Martin

Out with stress reaction in foot This is a tough blow for Martin, as he had a solid showing in December with averages of 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 24.7 minutes per game. Guerschon Yabusele and Caleb Martin could see an uptick in minutes during the short term.

Eric Gordon

Probable for Wednesday Gordon missed Monday's game against the Spurs after undergoing surgery on the right side of his mouth, but he's on track to the return to the rotation Wednesday. Gordon is averaging just 16.6 minutes per contest this season while shooting 27.5 percent from beyond the arc.

Andre Drummond

Iffy for Wednesday Joel Embii is healthy, meaning Drummond will be limited to the backup center minutes if he's given the green light. Drummond left Monday's matchup against the Spurs due to a left great toe contusion and was unable to return, but he appears to be day-to-day.

Luka Doncic

Listed probable for Wednesday Doncic returned to action following a two-game absence due to a left heel contusion Monday, producing 27 points (10-19 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 6-8 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 30 minutes. Despite not being 100 percent, the Mavericks are planning on him being available for the Christmas Day slate.

Karlo Matkovic

Considered week-to-week Matkovic has progressed to the return to play conditioning phase of his rehabilitation program, but he will miss another week of action. He's missed the past nine games for the Pelicans, but he could have a larger role in the near future with the franchise possibly looking to be sellers at the deadline.

Trey Murphy

Considered day-to-day Murphy sustained a left ankle injury during Sunday's game against the Denver Nuggets and was unable to return, but he escaped with a mild sprain. Fantasy managers should consider him questionable for Thursday's game against the Rockets.

Jose Alvarado

Considered week-to-week Alvarado hasn't played since he sustained a left hamstring strain Nov. 11, but he appears to be progressing towards a return. Based on this update, the earliest he could return is Jan. 1 against Miami, but that might be pushing it with how cautious the franchise has been.

Brandon Ingram

Re-evaluated in two weeks According to the Pelicans, Ingram remains in the early stages of his rehab, and there's no reported timetable just yet. With the Pelicans sitting at 5-25 on the season and with Ingram rumored to be on the trade block, don't expect the franchise to rush him back.

Zion Williamson

Considered week-to-week Williamson hasn't played since Nov. 6 due to a left hamstring strain, but he's progressing towards a return in the near future. The Pelicans are 5-25, however, so it wouldn't be a surprise if the team worked him back into the rotation slowly. Based on this report, the earliest possible return date is Jan. 1 against Miami, but that could be too optimistic.

Dru Smith

Out for season This is a devastating blow for Smith, as he was playing the best basketball of his career and was on the verge of earning a standard contract. Smith will finish the 2024-25 regular season with averages of 6.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.5 steals on 50.8 percent shooting from the field. Going forward, there could be more minutes available for Alec Burks and Pelle Larsson.
