PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Dillon Brooks was the 45th pick by Houston in the 2017 NBA Draft before his rights were acquired by Memphis… entering 2024-25, he appeared in 417 games with 390 starts while averaging 14.2 ppg, 3.2  rpg and 2.0 apg… Brooks had played for Memphis and Houston… he was acquired by Houston via trade with Memphis on 7/8/23… Brooks earned NBA All-Defensive Second Team honors in 2022-23.

BEFORE NBA

Played three seasons at the University of Oregon (2014-17)… Appeared in 109 games (98 starts) for the Ducks and averaged 14.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 28.9 minutes while shooting 47.2 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from 3-point range and 79.4 percent from the free throw line… Named the 2017 Pac 12 Player of the Year as a junior… Two-time All-Pac 12 First Team (2016, 2017), two-time Pac-12 All-Tournament Team (2016-17) and Pac-12 All-Freshman selection (2015)… Finished his collegiate career ranked 10th in Oregon history (1,612 points) and the school’s career leader in NCAA Tournament scoring (162 points), field goals made (59) and assists (32), and as a junior led the Ducks to their first NCAA Final Four since 1939… Made game-winning shots against Tennessee, UCLA and California during the 2016-17 season… Voted to the Pac 12 All-Freshman Team… Scored in double figures 84 times, including 28 games with at least 20 points and one game with at least 30 points… Recorded five double-doubles.

Born Jan. 22, 1996 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada… Raised in Canada but played a portion of his high school career at Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nev. where fellow Canadians and future NBA players Tristan Thompson, Cory Joseph and Anthony Bennett also played.
