Breeding horses for the sales ring rather than just for racing has been a norm in the thoroughbred industry for quite a while. It's an interesting point to ponder: How has this long-standing trend affected the quality and spirit of racing horses over the years? Are we compromising the essence of thoroughbred racing for commercial gains? It's a delicate balance, for sure – how do we maintain the integrity of the sport while also acknowledging the economic realities of breeding?

LATEST NEWS The week ahead and waterlogging… ‘After a week heavily curtailed by the adverse weather, we have nineteen jump fixtures in the schedule for the coming week. The BHA having added three extra meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday. Through the first part of the week the standard is at the low to medium point. There are quite a few entered up that have been noted on earlier outings which should selectively provide opportunities for us. As ever, true betting value will be the determining factor. The quality racing comes from the Cheltenham and Doncaster cards on Friday and Saturday. There is also a decent Carlisle card on Sunday which will also be of interest. It has been a promising start to the month. With plenty of racing on offer and a far more settled week of weather in the forecast, it provides scope to get turnover moving again towards further profits. Last week just six of the scheduled seventeen meetings went ahead as waterlogging became the main factor behind all the abandonments. Naturally turnover was very limited and the highlight was a tenacious 5/2 winner from our only bet on Saturday. A great deal of thanks again goes to all the groundstaff who battled through atrocious conditions to get the courses ready. Although much of the racing was attritional, most of the premier meetings managed to race. From now through to the new year we have a lot of racing ahead of us. It is a busy time which I intend to take full advantage of.’ MEMBERSHIP & INFORMATION: https://lnkd.in/eG7hRiqp

The high jump is a track and field event where athletes must leap over a horizontal bar placed at measured heights without knocking it down. Competitors take a running approach, usually using the Fosbury Flop technique, to launch themselves over the bar. What's the biggest complaint about Karting........? For most, it's the Cost! Kart Racing isn't cheap! Whether that's buying a new kart package, getting coaching, new tyres, engine rebuilds, entry fees, travel, or damage bills, it all adds up! With most kart races & championships awarding trophies as a prize, most families race week in week out for the prestigiousness of winning races. But that doesn't help the bank account! At Kart Class, we're always aiming to help drivers & families with information. The more valuable information (expertise) you can receive, the greater chance of success on & off track. I've always wanted to support families that have supported me. So, I'm starting a Kart Class Rewards Package that offers Cash back to Kart Class Members who WIN National races with a Kart Class sticker on their kart. If you're already winning races, then you can subsidise your racing much easier with our help! Drivers will receive $350 Cash for any National WIN! Simple as that. Support Kart Class. Learn more. Win more. Make Money! * Conditions Apply. Drivers must be a member of our Champions Club Program. ** Only applies to Race Wins at National events *** Drivers must have Kart Class stickers on their kart that is visible to be reimbursed

In 2021/22, the racing industry made a notable economic impact, generating $12.2 million in customer expenditure outside of wagering. This sum reflects the diverse spending of racing enthusiasts across on-course race day activities, and off-course activities including travel, fashion, retail. F1 Under Liberty Media / F.I.A Current Rule Makers Is A ( JOKE !!! ) Bring Back The Days Of Ecclestone / Mosley. They Had There Issues Nothing Like Now. We are only two races in this season, and apparently it is going to be a major fiasco already. With the number of races added to the calendar, and a team like williams have no spare chassis , with additional silly street tracks like Miami /Vegas, what does that say about Liberty Media. All they care about is increasing market values and hipping up the true value of the teams. Now let's go to F.I.A ,the Australian G.P, penalizing Alonso for unsafe driving, with additional license fines for simply doing what any. CLUB or PROFESSIONAL Formula racer would do is to understand there weakness at a specific point on the track under the condition they are in forcing the overtaking driver to make a maneuver more difficult. It's Russells responsibility to recognise his given position on the track and consequences of following to closely losing front downforce. As a driver that is suppose to be the best at what he does he made a mistake and admitted it. However the F.I.A decided to step in and a judgment call overruling Russells own admission. This is crazy!! passing out penalties for just about everything, track limits, pit limits, changing the results of a race is unheard of. "penalties' should be rolled over to the next race and assessed based on starting grid positions" One only can imagine what is coming up next for the Japanese G.P and all other races. This Power Grab Of The Sport With Haphazard Rule Making Is Killing F1.
