When hiring for roles in high compliance industries like tech or healthcare, it's crucial to prioritize candidates with a demonstrated commitment to ethical practices. Look for individuals who have a proven track record of following industry regulations, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to company policies. This commitment may be reflected in their previous roles, professional certifications, or even in their response to interview questions about hypothetical compliance scenarios. Always remember, while skills can be taught, integrity and a commitment to compliance form the backbone of an effective team in these sectors. #staffing #recruiting #financialservices #healthcarestaffing

Investigations Leader | Workplace Investigations ★ Training ★ Fraud Investigations ★ Case Management ★ Global Operations
Can you stop an investigation if you have concerns about the evidence? You should continuously assess the evidence you gather in an investigation. Could you find and correct any gaps? You need to make an informed decision to continue the investigation. Review is a continuous process. Circumstances may change as the case develops. You learn how the Subject explains what happened. You pursue more lines of inquiry. Sometimes it does not all add up. You must be satisfied that you have a realistic possibility of proving misconduct at the end of the fact-finding process. If not, the investigation must not continue, regardless of how serious or sensitive it may be. When deciding whether to continue the investigation, ask yourself: · Is the evidence dependable? Are there any reasons to question the reliability of the evidence, including its accuracy or integrity? · Is the evidence credible? · Is there any other information that might affect the sufficiency of the evidence? The best interests of the company, the Reporter, and Subject may also tend against investigating. Consider a different resolution strategy. You must resolve each Report. You do not have to investigate each one. ______ Winter Investigations helps companies strengthen their workplace investigations with investigator training, developing procedures and protocols, and advisory services.
