In one instance, I had a recruiter contact me regarding a job posting, but I couldn't hear her because of network issues, so I bought an airtime with money I didn't have (I wasn't working at the time) so that I could call her back, but the lady said, "It's too late. The position's been filled." A recruiter must be: ●Patient - Job applicants cannot simply apply for job postings for the sake of it. They are in need ●Make use of all the means at your disposal to contact an applicant, even if it means using references. Are all candidates guaranteed to get in? No!! In the meantime, you will have a clear conscience, knowing that you didn't give up on an applicant until they presented themselves during the interview process. We can't be the one's who closes the very same door the applicants are praying so hard for God to open!!!

This is something I have come across on more than one occasion. People will post that they are hiring for a certain role. No description, no company name, no salary, basically no other information. When I message them about the job description or atleast the company/brand name, they never answer the question and instead start asking me to send my CV, portfolio and basically the entire biodata. Even when asking for the any information about the company they start acting defensive and try to gatekeep as much information as possible. I just don’t understand it. I mean you are the one hiring and can’t even share the basic details? And I am suppose to blindly apply simply because you have a vacancy? Kindly don’t post jobs if you feel ashamed to share the company name and basic details.
