Why do Physical Therapists love volunteering with Special Olympics FUNfitness? Volunteers share that it not only provides them with a sense of purpose but also helps them work more effectively with individuals across the spectrum of intellectual and physical ability. On Global PT Day of Service, we join our partners at American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in thanking our FUNfitness volunteers and encouraging all Physical Therapists to consider volunteering with Special Olympics. #PTDOS #InclusiveHealth https://lnkd.in/eV6hhUJ2

For more than 10 years, Xbox and Special Olympics have worked together to leverage technology as a solution to end discrimination against those with intellectual disabilities. This past month we hosted three Special Olympics athletes at Mojang Studios and gave them a behind the scenes look at gaming careers. Amid campus tours and meetings with Xbox leadership, these athletes teamed up with Minecraft Education game designers and staff to participate in a Minecraft Education build challenge presented by Cleverlike Studios. Join us in our continual celebration of the gaming and disability community, and help us break down barriers and foster a world of inclusion through the power of play.
