Congresswoman Lori Trahan visited Seven Hills Pediatric Center on Monday. She had a tour and the opportunity to meet some of the children that reside at the Center. In addition to meeting with Kathee Jordan, President and CEO of Seven Hills Foundation, and Bill Stock, VP of Government and Community Relations, she also had the chance to interact with Joe Allred, Sr. VP of Children’s Services and Holly Jarek, Interim Administrator, as well as other members of the pediatric center’s staff. The visit gave those working at SHPC to thank the Congresswoman for all her support in Medicaid funding. During the visit it was noted that staffing was at its highest level in many years primarily because of that support.

Please join us on Friday, June 7th, at Seven Hills Behavioral Health for a "Healing Journey: A Moderated Panel Discussion of the Performance, Politicization, and the Power of Drag." You’re invited to kick off Pride Month in style with Gender Wellness Initiative (GWI), a program of Seven Hills Behavioral Health, as we welcome local drag performers Candace Persuasian, Lana Backwards, and Daishadore Famouz to share with us about their lived experiences and expertise in the area of drag performance. This event is intended to raise awareness about the significance of drag as a form of art, self-expression, community, and healing, while also discussing the importance and impact of recent efforts to ban and politicize drag. Our moderated discussion will highlight the above content with attention to impacts on the LGBTQ+ community. Julius has been instrumental in what has been, to date, an extremely successful E-Hana electronic health record implementation and go-live. He has been the lead interface with the vendor, the leadership team, and the IT team. He has also been invaluable counsel to Robert Leonard, Vice President of IT and Data Governance in navigating the needs and realities to implement successfully. He has been accomplishing this added full-time job while also administering and orchestrating an upgrade to the prior electronic health record. He also is leading the effort and evaluation of the electronic health replacement for our Rhode Island affiliate. He has managed an incredible workload during the past year with patience, professionalism, skill, and an unwavering can-do spirit and calm. Congratulations, Julius, for being named the Employee of the Year for Professional Services and as the recipient of the President’s Award! #EmployeeoftheYear https://lnkd.in/esk7xMAK
