We were thrilled to have Vinfen’s Digital Equity team participate in Massachusetts Broadband Institute's first-ever Digital Inclusion event, Celebrating Digital Equity in Massachusetts: A Forum for Innovation and Collaboration. Chief Strategy Officer Kim Shellenberger spoke on one of the excellent panels yesterday, and the team enjoyed the rest of the daylong event alongside some of our partner organizations: Advocates, Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN), Clinical & Support Options, Inc., Riverside Community Care and Open Sky Community Services. #DIW2024 #MaDigitalEquity

Vinfen’s Developmental Services Division recently collaborated with the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services' (DDS) Office of Human Rights and Metro Boston Self Advocates to offer a voting and elections workshop at our West Newton office. The education session was conducted by Chair of the Metro Boston Self Advocacy Group Todd Reis and DDS Metro Boston Human Rights Specialist Amy Boone to over 25 participants. Several individuals registered to vote after the session and many checked for their voting locations online. We were so happy to have such a great turnout with all the participants leaving very excited to learn more information and get ready to vote in November!

Vinfen’s Run-4-Life was quite an adventure this past weekend! It’s no small feat to run 200 miles over two days, and our dedicated staff and supporters did just that, fueled by the motivation to help fund microgrants that allow access to more health and wellness resources for the people we serve. More so, the teams surpassed their original fundraising goal by over $2,000 – currently with over $17.7k raised!  Here are some highlights from Bretton Woods Mountain to Hampton Beach State Park. Two teams of Vinfen staff and supporters will complete the race tomorrow, ending at Hampton Beach, all in support of the health and wellness of the people we serve.  Here are some highlights from today’s trek!    Run-4-Life raises funds that go directly to our programs in the form of microgrants.
