  • JFKIAT has a strong commitment to fostering connections between Terminal 4 and the larger Queens community, and this summer, we had an opportunity to share our passion for aviation with some very important community members: the girls who will lead the next generation of our great city's skilled tradespeople.    We recently worked with Holt Construction to host campers from Tools & Tiaras Inc., a Queens-based organization dedicated to motivating girls to explore careers in the skilled trades. The event – led by Gina Battagliola, PMP, Director of Terminal Redevelopment at JFKIAT, and Shereece Grant, Senior Project Accountant at Holt Construction – included an inspiring discussion featuring women leaders within the aviation industry, a session on construction and operational safety, and a guided tour of Terminal 4 and the Holt Construction site. The participants also had an exciting opportunity to view operations from the 7th floor of the Air Traffic Control Tower and meet with First Officer Veronika Bendova.    Thank you to everyone for helping to make this event a success and empowering these young women to break gender barriers in their careers and beyond.

  • Did you know that it takes the work of thousands of people to keep T4 running smoothly every day? From our greeters, to our baggage handlers, to our air traffic controllers and everyone in between, our T4 community works together year-round to deliver incredible journeys to our passengers - and in doing so, we've created a true family who are all driven by that mission. This week, we took some time to celebrate that outstanding community and thank them for everything they do.    On Tuesday, we hosted our 9th annual T4 Employee Appreciation Day to recognize the T4 community's unwavering commitment, enthusiasm, and dedication to making T4 a world-class air terminal. We celebrated the day with the things our team loves most - awesome food, dessert trucks, music, lots of games, and photos to capture all the memories we made. We are grateful to our incredible team members who make every day at T4 feel special - not just for our passengers, but for each other as well.    Thank you to our volunteers and sponsors for making this memorable event possible!    ABM Industries, Airway, Allied Universal, AVS, Brock Solutions, The Bronx Zoo, CDS Mastel, Converged Technology Group, Caribbean Airlines Ltd, Delta Air Lines , DFS, Emirates, ERMC, ESP, Finest Service Plus Inc, Global Elite Group, Holt Construction, Hudson, Hawaiian Airlines, ISS & Schindler, JETWAY , Emirates, Kenya Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Latam, On Point HVAC, Paradies Lagardère, Pack N’ Go, SDI, Singapore Airlines, Smart Carte, SSP Group plc, Swissport, TBL Construction Ltd. , TechForce, TFAC, TAV, Thales, Unity, Vinny Pamimi, VRH, Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) ,XpressSpa , Walter Gorman, MR Concessions, Sam Schwartz, WestJet, east27creative, avianca and Chase Etihad.

  • Last week JFKIAT celebrated 20 incredible years of JetBlue at JFK Terminal 4! Our longstanding partnership with JetBlue has been marked by collaboration, growth, and shared success. From 2004 to 2014, T4 served as the primary terminal for JetBlue, operating as the New York City gateway for their flights before Terminal 5 was established. Today, T4 continues to support JetBlue's international operations, serving international overnight arrivals.   Here's to many more years of collaboration and success!  #AviationMilestones #Partnership #TravelExcellence

  • During June's National Safety Month, we prioritized bringing safety awareness to the T4 community by emphasizing the most common safety concerns, answering questions, and enforcing best practices.    We met with our business partners & tenants to discuss important safety topics and remind employees of safe terminal operation, ensuring T4 continues providing excellent safety measures.   With the ongoing expansion and transformation of T4, combined with the growth of the number of passengers traveling through, JFKIAT remains committed to providing top safety measures for our passengers and employees alike.    Thank you to our partners, DFS Group, SSP Group plc, Hudson, our Airlines, and Lounges.
