Buckhead America’s central support center provides a complete service solution in hotel-centric property operations, accounting, HR, and Revenue Management. Currently servicing a portfolio of 12 hotels encompassing 951 rooms across reputable franchise brands from Hilton, IHG, Choice, and Best Western, the company’s robust acquisition and development pipeline will see an additional 527 rooms added to its core group of managed hotels. Celebrating Home2 Suites by Hilton Jekyll Island’s PEP migration with a PEP rally, PEP talks, PEPperoni pizza, and PEPpa Pig for emotional support. This weekend, we wrapped up a week of celebrating International Housekeeping Week Home2 Suites by Hilton Jekyll Island for those who are the heartbeat of our hotel. I want to extend a huge thank you to our fantastic team for their hard work! We love investing time and energy in the people who make us successful daily at Home2 Suites by Hilton! Buckhead America Hospitality gifted us with everything on our wish list, including new carts for linen, housekeeping, inspections, and duvets, along with new trash receptacles, mops, and vacuums, and they arrived just in time for us to use this week. We enjoyed artistic activities, including making friendship bracelets, decorating clipboards and lanyards, and playing games and trivia. The team's favorite prize was a certificate from Edward Y Kalashian III for his housekeeping services on his next visit. We know that the winner is going to enjoy inspecting his room! Our managers surprised the team throughout the week with a fun wagon filled with candy and toys. We served daily breakfast treats and snacks, a luncheon from Olive Garden, and an ice cream social. We concluded the week with a royal feast. We are thankful to our sister property, Ocean Inn and Suites, who participated in a gift certificate exchange for our Executive Housekeeper to enjoy a relaxing getaway; it was the perfect pairing for her gift basket of stress relief goodies. More importantly, we connected as a team, enjoyed each other's company, and had more laughs than you could count. It was a week filled with fun and enjoyment, a well-deserved break from our daily routines. It was just the celebration week we needed before we migrate to PEP this coming week!

We are elated to have been represented by Logan Kessinger and Erica Mooney at Hilton's "We Sell, We Serve" workshop last week. Ladies, we wholeheartedly appreciate your commitment to learning and your invaluable contributions on behalf of Home2 Suites by Hilton and Buckhead America Hospitality!
Erica Mooney and I were honored to represent Buckhead America Hospitality in Hilton’s pioneer group for last week's all-new LIVE, in-person workshop "We Sell, We Serve" in Charleston, SC. The session was dedicated to extended stays and the guest experience. We also had the opportunity to attend the Brand networking, connection, and celebration with numerous peers and engage in "Big-Talk” conversations with our Brand team and industry leaders. In-person learning and collaboration bring about big ideas. We are thankful for the opportunity to attend, learn, and be inspired by the innovative ideas shared by all in attendance. I personally appreciated the opportunity to speak openly about guest satisfaction and how we can make it right before, during, and after their stay. We return to our team ready to unleash the tools acquired during this first-of-its-kind learning session. The skills learned over these two days will be with us throughout our careers as we sell our properties and serve our guests.
