Aramark Destinations and members from Aramark Sports + Entertainment joined forces this year for the ARC Expo, which was hosted September 30 – October 3 at Kansas City, widely known as the Heart of America. This year more than 300 attendees gathered for networking, breakout sessions, product review and purchasing, and company/vendor awards. Aramark Destinations was thrilled to unveil new branding for the annual expo, which is now called ARC, representing Aramark, Retail, and Culinary. Asilomar’s native vegetation is one of many responsibilities that we are charged with in partnership with California State Parks. Aramark recently partnered with our friends at Rana Nursery who specialize in seed collection, growth, and cultivation of native plants. We will target sections of the Conference Grounds in a effort to rehabilitate the grounds with these native species.

This is a World Heritage site and during October, there is an annual Mushroom Festival, this is the month that the Coho Salmon run, and visitors can enjoy walks in lush rainforests and the “Valley of 10,000 waterfalls” and peaceful clear glacier-carved lakes.
