Steve Harvey accused of 'cheating' on Celebrity Family Feud by outraged contestant - years after game show host admitted he was 'scared' of her

Steve Harvey was sensationally accused of 'cheating' by a disgruntled contestant on the latest episode of Celebrity Family Feud.

Black-ish star Anthony Anderson, 53, who is a longtime friend of Steve's, was facing off against Blurred Lines crooner Robin Thicke, 47.

Both showbiz heavyweights had brought their relations with them to compete on the game show, as per the rules of the competition.

However, when a call did not go Anthony's way, he returned crestfallen to his team - prompting one of them to react with outrage.

This particular member of Anthony's family has a long history with Steve, 67, who confessed several years ago that he is frightened of her.

The withering remark about cheating came from none other than Anthony's formidable mother Doris Bowman, 71.

During an episode of the game show this week, Steve instructed the contestants: 'Name an animal a man sounds like when they’re making love.'

Robin replied: 'Cow,' which was the number three answer, while Anthony said: 'A bear,' which turned out to be the number two answer.

Each celebrity earned 10 points, but since Anthony gave the higher-ranking response, he assumed he had won the round.

His hopes were dashed when Steve pointed out that Robin managed to strike the buzzer first, meaning the two teams had in fact tied.

Anthony was left downcast, while his mother was so incensed with the result that she accused Steve of 'cheating already!'

Steve revealed years ago that 'Miss Doris' once 'talked to me so bad' and 'so crazy' that she 'scared me' while they were playing a game of dominos.

The candid admission came when Anthony appeared as a guest on an episode of Steve's syndicated talk show, which aired from 2012 to 2017.

When Doris lambasted Steve during their dominos game, he wailed: 'Miss Doris, you can't talk to me like that!' and she sneered: 'Well, what you gon' do?'

Anthony laughed as Steve revealed he was 'thrown back' by her response, after which she 'beat me half to death' at dominos.

Doris and Anthony teamed up this year to host a game show of their own, We Are Family, taking over from Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne.

Anthony affectionately described his mother as having 'no filter,' adding that she 'speaks from the heart and tells it how it is and how she sees it,' via Deadline

'She gets to cuss a lot more in real life when it comes to me, but our chemistry is the same that you see on television, and I think that’s what’s so endearing about it.'
