Lady Gaga has been branded 'desperate' by a six-year-old child who gave her a handwritten note during a recent press interview in London.
The 38-year-old singer took it all in her stride when she was handed a piece of paper by journalist Lotte Jeffs, who was chatting to her for ELLE UK's March 2025 issue.
Written in pink pen on a piece of branded paper from The Londoner hotel, the note read: 'Lady Gaga, I like you but you're not the best and by the way can I have that song of yours, sounds like you're desperate.'
Gaga proudly posed for a photo holding the note and had a big grin on her face whilst doing so.
The snap was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, alongside the caption: 'Lady Gaga receives handwritten note from six-year-old daughter of ELLE interviewer who was upset her mom was busy that day: 'I like you but you're not the best.''
People were quick to comment on the post as one wrote: 'This little note is a masterpiece! It's like a tiny roast from the cutest fan ever.'
A second person said, 'Kids don't mess aroundddd though,' and a third commented: 'Six-year-olds are wise!'
'Savage six-year-old, I'm here for this energy,' a fourth person wrote, while a fifth asked: 'Why is the six-year-old such a hater omg.'

Someone else joked: 'Kid is going to go places with that honesty,' and a different person added: 'Brutally honest review of Lady Gaga is priceless!'
And someone else said: 'That's so sweet and funny! A handwritten note from a six-year-old with such honesty is priceless.
'It's adorable that the little one expressed herself so openly, and Lady Gaga's reaction must have been a mix of amusement and warmth.
'The note is a cute reminder of how kids can say the funniest and most unfiltered things!' they added.
Journalist Lotte Jeffs originally shared the snap on Instagram, along with a selfie of her and Gaga, and shared the story behind the note in her article for ELLE UK.
Referring to her face-to-face meeting with Gaga, Jeffs wrote: 'As a parent to a six-year-old myself I warn Gaga that kids will bring you down to earth with a thud.
'In fact, I go as far as to show her a note my daughter has written to the popstar on hearing that I will be interviewing her on Saturday afternoon not taking her to the toy shop as planned.
'Yep, I say - kids are endlessly humbling. Gaga thinks the note is hilarious, "Oh, I'm ready," she says, folding the scrap of paper and putting it in her jacket pocket for those moments, we laugh, when she's getting too big for her boots.
Lotte Jeffs' daughter wrote the letter and the journalist said she was 'so pleased' that Gaga had a 'great sense of humor'
Jeffs interviewed the 38-year-old pop star for the March 2025 issue of ELLE UK magazine
'I'm so pleased Gaga has a great sense of humour - not least because that note could have really backfired otherwise,' the writer added.
Elsewhere in the interview, Gaga revealed that she doesn't like to 'torture herself' while thinking about her demons, despite always 'looking for an out' at the height of her struggles.
The popstar admitted that she 'used to drink and smoke and lot' before finding an 'escape route,' and has been grateful she is able to share that struggle with her followers through her new music.
'Trying to escape. I used to drink a lot and smoke a lot, and I was always looking for an out,' she said.
'I used to call it the trap door. I used to be like, 'I need an escape route'. And I stopped doing that. And I actually started feeling it. Being present. As an artist, it's hard to go through that and not want to share that with my fans.'
Gaga went on to share that through the making of her seventh album, which will be released on March 7, she's rediscovered the chaotic parts of herself that she thought were a thing of the past.
